History of hypertension

I’m pregnant with my second baby and am due in January. I’m high risk because I had hypertension with my first and had to be induced cause she was small. I’m going through the same thing with this baby with her being small and having ultrasounds every other week to check on her. My hands and feet go numb very often and with my first that was a sign I had hypertension. They are worried I will get it again, however, my back has been going numb and I’ve been having my hands go numb for 10 minutes at a time. Should I try to see my obgyn asap or should I go to the er. No one has been able to give me advice and I’m scared that I have hypertension and they have already scared me into saying I might get preeclampsia and have more complications than my first

ER immediately. Don’t chance anything and advocate for yourself. Name every symptom , even if it doesn’t seem to correlate.

Check your BP if you can. Or try to check at a pharmacy. You could also go to urgent care vs hospital. Numbness isn’t usually a hypertension sign but you can get it from carpal tunnel from swelling.
But I wouldn’t risk it. You could have a stroke. Seizure. Or placenta abruption. I get it’s stressful but better to be alive and your baby alive 🖤

Pregnancy anxiety

Hi lovelies💕 currently 38+3 now. Ive found myself the past week or so waking up in a panic that something is wrong with bubba. I think it’s because I’m so close to seeing her🥹 Anyone else relate?😞

Bad sickness already!

This is baby no 2 for me, have a 3 year old daughter already. I am 7w1d and have been suffering with severe nausea for a couple of weeks already, anyone else already in the trenches of the first trimester?

Weirdest thing you cried about?

Hi all! What was the weirdest thing you cried about so far while pregnant?
I had an absolute meltdown last night when my husband woke me up after watching our show to go and brush my teeth 🤣 like literally I was sobbing bc I was so tired and he dared to wake me up to make sure I take care of myself 😭🤣 even offered to bring me my toothbrush for me so I don’t have to get up but I wouldn’t brush my teeth my way then so that wasn’t good enough! 🤣 poor guy is being rather patient with me and I just know it’s my hormones being all over the place so I don’t want to feel so alone! Join me with sharing your stories 🤣

Sertraline

I’ve been prescribed 25mg sertraline at 5 weeks due to extreme anxiety.

My anxiety is making me question whether or not I can go through with pregnancy, before I was pregnant I was sure I wanted a baby so I’m hoping it’s now just my mental health that is making me unable to see a light at the end of the tunnel.

I’m petrified of bumps, needles, hospitals, and definitely birth.

Does anyone have any experience with sertraline? I am hoping this is going to help me but I’m scared it doesn’t.
