Help plz I am TIRED🄲

Mums, how did you get your newborn to sleep in their Next to Me crib? My little girl falls asleep perfectly in my arms but the second I put her down in her crib she wakes up crying! What worked for you? Any advice or tips šŸ™šŸ½

Mine wouldn’t she slept in the Moses basket for weeks, try a swaddle if u can or put ur T-shirt over the mattress so it smells like you. They just wana feel close to mum and all snuggled up when their small

My little girl was the same, Fell asleep lovely on me, my partner and her moses basket but always woke up unsettled in her next to me crib until we got her Ewan sheep teddy, It’s worked wonders for her and settles her down loads in bed now, Wouldn’t be without it

We have one of these heated mats - when I take baby out for a feed, I put the heat mat in the next to me to warm up the mattress, then take it out just before I lay baby back down. It makes the transition a bit more cosy and he seems to settle much better. I’ve also heard of people saying to sleep with the crib mattress down your top for a night or two to make it smell like you

Swaddling was the game changer for us and putting the moses basket inside the next to me lol it must be too wide and scary for them! Also make sure she is in a deep sleep before transferring- do arm drop trick and transfer slowly- keep her close to you and lower slowly, bum first then head and keep you hand on her chest for a good 30-40 seconds before removing

Could be that it feels too open? We put the moses basket inside the next to me each night and currently getting 3-4 hour sleep stretches

Its tough because sometimes they just want your arms! We wait an extra 10 minutes after he's asleep to make sure he's really in a deep sleep. Also we put a t shirt of mine in the next to me so it smelled more like me and was familiar

Baby fell off the bed šŸ˜ž

So guys the day ive dreaded for a long time happened today. It was exactly the same as every other morning except this one day my little one somehow managed to move across the whole bed and tumbled off it. The standard pillow fort waa there but somehow he missed it. I truly don't have a clue how but now im petrified of closing my eyes in the morning. Please confirm that this happens all of the time and that I'm not a bad mum.

Front Sleeping

Does anyone else put baby on front to sleep? I don’t need comments telling me the guidance, I know it but baby is suffering with reflux, much happier on their front, 4 months old and can roll both ways but doesn’t roll in the night, just wakes up screaming.
Has anyone with a baby who rolls ever put them down on their front or been advised to due to similar issues?

Advice…sorry it’s long

I am looking for some advice or to know I’m not alone with anyone in a similar situation.

My baby is almost 1 and has always been a not so great sleeper, the only time he slept through the night was after his 16 weeks jabs.

We’re at a point now where we co-sleep after his 1st wake up in his cot because if he settles and go back in his cot, he will be up at 5am although we haven’t tried this recently whereas in bed he will stir and wake at that time but he’ll go back to sleep until maybe 7:00-7:45.

He also usually wakes up crying and we have to walk around with him to calm down.

He is waking in the night and can be awake anywhere between 45 mins - 1hr, just laid talking away, grabbing me etc, this happens almost every night.

How can I get him to not wake at the crack of dawn in his cot and move away from co-sleeping and get rid of these split nights?

I’m back at work too so when he’s waking early morning, he can go back to sleep but I’m working long days so I’m just exhausted.

Side / tummy sleeper

Baby loves sleeping on their side / tummy and gets up a lot more when placed on back so I’ve leaned into it and don’t always put them on their back anymore. Just wondering if anyone else does the same

Wake Up Times

Do you all wake yourself and baby up at the same time every day? I get up depending on how the night has been, so if we've had a crap night, we might not get up until 10, but I feel like I should start getting up the same time every day to start some sort of routine and nap schedule as at the minute we just go with the flow.
