Sleep

My 4 week old will only sleep 40 mins at night before wanting to be breastfed again is anyone else experiencing the same?, after 5/10 mins she’ll fall back asleep and do the exact same, during the day she can sleep for nearly 2/3 why is that ?
She’s both bottle and breast fed my partner gives her bottle at night before bed to give me a little rest

The bottle could be making her gassy or have reflux before bed. Have you tried breastfeeding before she goes down for the night instead?

She might be going through a growth spurt hence the cluster feeding. Babies haven’t got any idea whether it’s day or night, try and keep day time light and bright and loud. And night times dark and quiet. She’s still learning, it will take a couple more weeks before she settles properly. This will hopefully settle over the next couple weeks, as it did for me.🫶🏼 my current schedule is feed, bath, feed to sleep. And my baby usually sleeps around 2-3 hours after this routine. Try and keep every night the same so she learns what bed time is.

Mine was the same the first few weeks it was awful but got so much better after the cluster feeding settled and we started to swaddle him. Make sure she has had a full feed if you can by doing breast compressions

Baby fell off the bed 😞

So guys the day ive dreaded for a long time happened today. It was exactly the same as every other morning except this one day my little one somehow managed to move across the whole bed and tumbled off it. The standard pillow fort waa there but somehow he missed it. I truly don't have a clue how but now im petrified of closing my eyes in the morning. Please confirm that this happens all of the time and that I'm not a bad mum.

Front Sleeping

Does anyone else put baby on front to sleep? I don’t need comments telling me the guidance, I know it but baby is suffering with reflux, much happier on their front, 4 months old and can roll both ways but doesn’t roll in the night, just wakes up screaming.
Has anyone with a baby who rolls ever put them down on their front or been advised to due to similar issues?

Advice…sorry it’s long

I am looking for some advice or to know I’m not alone with anyone in a similar situation.

My baby is almost 1 and has always been a not so great sleeper, the only time he slept through the night was after his 16 weeks jabs.

We’re at a point now where we co-sleep after his 1st wake up in his cot because if he settles and go back in his cot, he will be up at 5am although we haven’t tried this recently whereas in bed he will stir and wake at that time but he’ll go back to sleep until maybe 7:00-7:45.

He also usually wakes up crying and we have to walk around with him to calm down.

He is waking in the night and can be awake anywhere between 45 mins - 1hr, just laid talking away, grabbing me etc, this happens almost every night.

How can I get him to not wake at the crack of dawn in his cot and move away from co-sleeping and get rid of these split nights?

I’m back at work too so when he’s waking early morning, he can go back to sleep but I’m working long days so I’m just exhausted.

Side / tummy sleeper

Baby loves sleeping on their side / tummy and gets up a lot more when placed on back so I’ve leaned into it and don’t always put them on their back anymore. Just wondering if anyone else does the same

Wake Up Times

Do you all wake yourself and baby up at the same time every day? I get up depending on how the night has been, so if we've had a crap night, we might not get up until 10, but I feel like I should start getting up the same time every day to start some sort of routine and nap schedule as at the minute we just go with the flow.
