Sleeping and not waking for feeds.

My baby is 3 weeks old and the last two nights has slept for 5 and a half hours without waking for a feed. I’m waking him up to feed him at this point as I’m panicking he’s gone too long without a feed. Is anyone else’s baby sleeping for this long at a time? Is it normal?

If your baby is back over their birth weight, feeding plenty in the day and having plenty of wet nappies, you really don't need to wake them up for feeds, let them sleep and enjoy the sleep yourself!

Is he back to birth weight?
My health visitor told me i can leave my daughter for 5 hours if shes still asleep for that time and as long as nappies are still wet etc

My baby is 4 weeks on Wednesday - she sleeps from midnight to 5-6am. I’ve found if I try to wake her for milk she is uninterested, so I just use her cues. I’m trying to remind myself every baby is different and everything is subject to change. As long as they feed well during the day & put on weight. I spoke to the HV about it yesterday and she seemed unconcerned.

He is well over his birthweight and I’ve been told by my midwife that it seems he is feeding for comfort too so he is getting more than enough and gaining weight quickly. We are also getting plenty of wet nappies.
Anytime I offer him a feed he takes it so sometimes I’m unsure as to if it’s just a top up and for comfort or if he’s actually hungry

Baby fell off the bed 😞

So guys the day ive dreaded for a long time happened today. It was exactly the same as every other morning except this one day my little one somehow managed to move across the whole bed and tumbled off it. The standard pillow fort waa there but somehow he missed it. I truly don't have a clue how but now im petrified of closing my eyes in the morning. Please confirm that this happens all of the time and that I'm not a bad mum.

Front Sleeping

Does anyone else put baby on front to sleep? I don’t need comments telling me the guidance, I know it but baby is suffering with reflux, much happier on their front, 4 months old and can roll both ways but doesn’t roll in the night, just wakes up screaming.
Has anyone with a baby who rolls ever put them down on their front or been advised to due to similar issues?

Advice…sorry it’s long

I am looking for some advice or to know I’m not alone with anyone in a similar situation.

My baby is almost 1 and has always been a not so great sleeper, the only time he slept through the night was after his 16 weeks jabs.

We’re at a point now where we co-sleep after his 1st wake up in his cot because if he settles and go back in his cot, he will be up at 5am although we haven’t tried this recently whereas in bed he will stir and wake at that time but he’ll go back to sleep until maybe 7:00-7:45.

He also usually wakes up crying and we have to walk around with him to calm down.

He is waking in the night and can be awake anywhere between 45 mins - 1hr, just laid talking away, grabbing me etc, this happens almost every night.

How can I get him to not wake at the crack of dawn in his cot and move away from co-sleeping and get rid of these split nights?

I’m back at work too so when he’s waking early morning, he can go back to sleep but I’m working long days so I’m just exhausted.

Side / tummy sleeper

Baby loves sleeping on their side / tummy and gets up a lot more when placed on back so I’ve leaned into it and don’t always put them on their back anymore. Just wondering if anyone else does the same

Wake Up Times

Do you all wake yourself and baby up at the same time every day? I get up depending on how the night has been, so if we've had a crap night, we might not get up until 10, but I feel like I should start getting up the same time every day to start some sort of routine and nap schedule as at the minute we just go with the flow.
