It is intimidating to start with but take it easy and do small little things to start with then build it up xxx

Oh I’m sorry! The only advice I have is do it and do it often. You’ll only feel better once you build up the practice. I started really early, because I knew it would feel hard. I can’t imagine feeling stuck in the house 5 months on!! ☹️
Things to remember - babies cry. If they cry out and about, so be it. Do not worry about anyone else. Next, You’re in charge of prep. Get a bag ready before you go. Don’t pack the whole house, but pack the things you think you’ll need, early. Do it the night before if need be. Finally, you can always come home. Try walks round the block and then get longer and longer.
Everyone gets anxious, but delaying doing things will only make it harder! Now, pop your shoes and jacket in, pop baby in the pram, and off out you go (do it now before you over think it!!) 🖤🖤

I second these replies. You just have to keep on trying then soon it will be second nature. I have a 5 month old and a 19 month old and I get out every day. The more often you do it the easier it gets. You have got this!!🤍

It’s nerve wracking to begin with but it’s gets so much easier with time. There are so many mums out there (old and new) that have felt the same that will help you if you need it and give you that ‘it’s okay’ look when things are hard.
I can see you have twins!! I’m not a mum of twins but I promise you that with every mishap that happens, you have young children it’s inevitable, you’ll learn how to manage it and your confidence will grow with every outing.
My best advice would be to go somewhere to start that is children friendly. A playgroup, a play cafe and build up from there. Keep expectations low, things won’t go perfect but there a beauty in the chaos. You’ve got this!!!! And if it’s all too much you can always go back home and try again the next day.

I really felt like this! What massively helped me was the mums from one of my baby classes went out for coffee after and seeing 6/7 of us with babies and how different they all were really helped me. It was also great to see how they handled their babies when out!
Also you will react more strongly to your baby than strangers will, what seems like loud screaming to you is probably nothing to the people around you x
Hi! Just found out I'm about 4 weeks pregnant with my first baby and I'll be 32 in December. Any tips for pregnancy in your 30s? I've heard pregnancy and childbirth are more difficult in your 30s, especially if it's your first.
