Anterior placenta and movements

I’m just over the 17 week mark with my first and haven’t had any appointments with my midwife or scans since 14 weeks and starting to feel a little worried but also need reassurance. Is it normal to not feel anything yet especially with your first and an anterior placenta?

First time mum with an anterior placenta too - currently 19 + 3 and I can't feel a thing! Dw lovely, you'll be fine. Annoying now we can't feel the baby much yet. Hopefully we'll feel something by 24 weeks x

20 + 3 today with an anterior and only had my first definite kick yesterday. Its very common but if you're worried, phone triage and they will give you some reassurance or invite you in for a scan x

Second time mum with anterior placenta again - 19 weeks and have felt some small movements but that’s because I’ve felt it before with anterior so know what/how it feels. Found it hard with my first to know. I only feel movement every so often though, which makes me worry, it’s perfectly normal to feel that way though. Hopefully 20wk scan will give you some reassurance ☺️
