Two weeks postpartum

I had my son a little over two weeks ago and he is the best thing to ever happen to me but this has also been the hardest time of my life. Just writing to connect as I have no mom friends and feel quite isolated. Love to all your moms and babies!

i had my boy 10/11 and i’m right there with you. i’m so overwhelmed and exhausted, and i have this sense of wishing i was still pregnant to have him to myself again. these hormones are no joke, im so grateful to have him but i get no sleep or time to myself anymore, i feel a wreck and my room looks it too

im 3 weeks post partum and im in the same boat! i am so grateful for my baby girl and that was the hardest but best day of my life… but man its been so difficult. the first week postpartum i swear seems like such a blur now. i’m struggling to remember to eat and like actually feel like my own person. especially with breastfeeding it’s been hard being so needed. but i try to remember that this time is so temporary and our babies will be growing so fast and we will miss this time! it’s hard to see now but i try to believe it. hang in there mama sending love

3 weeks postpartum and finally getting a hang of it and feeling like myself. I definitely didn’t have an appetite and still finding it..but it’s okay to feel that way. I love my baby but I definitely think it’s a huge adjustment even with support. Hang in there!! Just try to find a little sense of self and take care of yourself❤️ it gets better!!

Anyone else having a rough pregnancy?

I broke my pelvis at 14 weeks pregnant, developed PGP/SPD since, have gestational diabetes, too much fluid around baby, baby is measuing large and placenta previa. My first pregnancy was super uncomplicated minus developing hypertension at the end and this one I just feel like my body is trying to have every high risk factor out there. I’m super thankful baby is ok, but my body is suffering 😩 I’m 33 weeks and just ready not be pregnant anymore

Second baby after traumatic birth and at 40?

Hello. Asking for some kind and friendly and honest advice. I had my first baby 2 years ago (aged 38), without going into too much detail it wasn’t easy but wasn’t absolutely horrific but enough to scare me to go through it again. With that in mind and now being 40, I’m worried about having a second baby despite really wanting one! I’m also fit and healthy (I think) but not in the best physical shape as I’ve struggled to lose the weight from first time around and worried this is also a risk. Has anyone else experienced this and does anyone have any advice at all?
