Hi mamas! 💕 I had my 1-hour glucose test today, and my result came back over 200 😭 I’m honestly a little worried. Has anyone else had a result this high? Were you diagnosed with gestational diabetes right away, or did your doctor have you do the 3-hour test? I’d love to hear your experiences! ❤️

Mine was 154. I have to do the 3 hour, made an appointment for next Wednesday. I'm pretty nervous about getting nauseous over the course of that time, but also bored. My friend assured me she failed the 1 hour and passed the 3 hour and didn't have to do anything more about gestational diabetes. I just wanna know how to pass it besides fasting for 8-14 hours.

Everyone keeps saying it’s super common to fail the 1-hour test and then pass the 3-hour one, but it’s still so hard not to stress about it! 😭💕 I totally get how you feel! Wishing you the best of luck next Wednesday! Hopefully everything goes smoothly and you get good results! Sending you lots of positive vibes! 🥹❤️

Hey love, at over 200mg/dl you meet the criteria for diagnosis without the 3 hour follow up test, your provider will likely be getting with you right away

Thank you so much! ❤️ I think that’s probably what’s going to happen. I actually just spoke with my nurse about it too.

Hi! I failed my GD 1hr test as well and had to do the 3hr testing after failing it. But I passed the 1hr one when I was in the first trimester and had to do it again at 26 weeks and failed but passed the 3hr one
Isn’t it crazy when you hit the one month mark and realize you’ve been doing the sleepless nights, sore nipples, and everything in between for a full month now? It’s hard for me to wrap my head around. She’s my double rainbow baby, and I think it’s made it all the more insane to me 🌈🥹

Currently at the hospital for reduced movement.I was strapped to a machine and after an hour, they told me they had to redo it as the results did not meet the criteria.Has anyone had this before?I’m trying to stay calm and can feel faint movement which is good.Should I be worried? What questions should I be asking when I go back in a couple of hours for a repeat test?Has anyone experienced this?

I'm currently omw to L&D at the hospital due to hypertension. It's been a steady 150/100 and if I do anything it climbs. I'm so scared because my BP has never been that high, it's actually typically lower end. I don't have any other symptoms. Can someone tell me their experience and what the treatment was?
