Potty training

Hi my daughter is two years old , she knows when she wets her diaper and poops she can’t stand it. So I got her a potty & everyone says give them underwear for the day & use a pamper at night time but sneak onto them. Lol.

But my thing is … if they’re training and wearing underwear aren’t I’m gonna have to put her in the shower every time she messes in the underwear how does this help ?😒 pee will be everywhere all the time .. I don’t want my house smelling like pee😹

Dont put them in underwear, let her be naked from the waist down for the first 3-4 days until she gets the hang of it, then when you put her in underwear if she tells you when she needs to go help her pulling her knickers and trousers down

Yeah I second this. Did this woth both mine and in 4 days and potty training complete! Obvs going to have a few accidents along the road but dedicating those days to cracking it totally worth it.

Preschool/prek ?

If you are a SAHM, do you send your 2-3 year old to preschool? I’m genuinely confused because people keep asking me why my not even 3 year old isn’t in preschool yet. While I was working she was in “early preschool” which was literally just daycare. I also keep seeing social media posts of 2 and 3 year olds going to “preschool.” I am a SAHM now, why would I willingly send my 2 year old to daycare and pay money for that, and lose the precious time we have together before she starts school. She has other opportunities to socialize and she is incredibly smart! Maybe societal expectations are changing but my siblings and I didn’t start preschool until 4 and it was only a half day (and free through our public school!) Isn’t it best for our babies to be home with us if possible?

Someone tell me I’m not crazy?! 🙈

Parenting responsibilities

As a stay at home mom I understand that my job is mainly house chores and childcare when he’s working but I asked him to help with giving our son a bath and he started complaining about how that’s my job and how I’m so lucky to be a stay at home mom and I need to stop complaining. I feel terribly guilty and bad when he brings that up. Of course I’m extremely lucky and blessed to be a stay at home mom but that doesn’t mean that some days or weeks are just hard. I feel weak for asking for help and I don’t think I should feel like that. These are his kids too and I shouldn’t have to ask him to just be a parent. Idk am I in the wrong?
I even told him he doesn’t need to do anything at home like laundry, cooking, cleaning because I understand that’s my duty at home. Maybe I’m the one who’s wrong idk.
Then when I try to talk to him about me struggling he’ll tell me just wait until you start working then you’ll regret ever complaining. But if I work I’ll still be coming home after a long work day to still cook, clean, and take care of the kids.

Anyone else feel a bit stuck? 🥲

I’ve come to the decision that I really am not a patient person 😂 I’m feeling a bit stuck at the moment. My boy is 6 months old, has had really bad reflux from the beginning, is currently not interested in food, is breastfed and won’t take a bottle, cosleeps because the crib is a big no no. The list could go on! He is very hard work and I know babies aren’t easy but this is another level and feel like I definitely have it harder than others especially when you see people say their baby sleeps great and all the other things

valid crash out? 🤔

my baby daddy went mad at me as he found out i was ‘using his child maintenance’ to buy nappies from Aldi/Lidl instead of buying Pampers. Valid or is he being as ridiculous as I feel like he is? 😂

Weaning struggles since 6month

Anyone else struggling with feeding their little one food? Ever since he was 6 month old, feeding is so difficult, he’s now 8 and a half and every meal time he’s moaning, fussy, crying, refusing.
