Hi ladies, I had my c section 5 weeks ago. What's everyone's wound healing process been like? I've still got the occasional sharp pains and pulling sensations when I move certain ways. Is this normal?

My c section was just over 3 weeks and I’m still getting the pulling feeling! They cut through a lot of layers and muscle to get to baby! It might look healed on the outside but it’ll take ages for the inside to be healed! Obviously I’m a bit behind you but I think it is normal to have those pains etc for quite a while. I’m trying to keep active and moving but without over doing it!

I'm 7 weeks pp and i still occasionally get those pains, I still get a bit sore around my scar if I walk a lot

I'm 4.5 weeks in. Generally it's been a good recovery I think - I have no frame of reference, but I think it's been ok. I had a Pico dressing which was removed after a week. The scar exterior incision was basically knitted then, but inside obviously takes longer. At 3 weeks PP, I had a spat stitch which caused a localised infection, which created a bit of an opening along the scar. GP snipped the thread, and it's taken about a week to stop bleeding 😳 I was quite panicked, but it seems ok now - just waiting for it to fully close up. The general bruising feeling has subsided a lot. I've been trying to increase my walking. Done a lot today - the school run, walked into town for birth registration and then the school run again - and I am feeling it tonight. Kinda pulling / tight on the scar itself, and like I've done loads of sit ups in my tummy. I think it's normal... I'm still scared to actually touch my scar properly too.

Im 5 weeks monday and although l am generally okay still getting odd times with the pain needing to take pain relief. I think it will take a couple of weeks to recover x

I’m 7 weeks in with my 3rd and an infection in my scar, the pulling can last a while still, after my 2nd it took me a year before it stopped
4months since my second elective c section and my belly is still like this. Is it normal?

Hope everyone is doing well on here.
I had my growth scan yesterday, and originally, the twins were estimated at 28 weeks and were weighing around the same (2.9ilbs/2.6ibs) but the consultant just wanted to double check on my upper twin as they were measuring a little bit smaller than the lower twin.
So today, everything went well. I enjoyed seeing them cuddled up, and both were breached position.
They're now at 3.14 lbs, so I'm overall carrying like 6 pounds and 4.5 ounces altogether (help) 😅🤣
But I'm curious how much dud your guys' babies are all weighing at the moment or at 30 weeks.
Let me know, and I hope everyone is doing ok 🩷🥰
