anyone else’s baby just a nightmare to get to sleep? (She’s nearly 7 weeks) Constantly overtired cause she just won’t fall asleep, she don’t even like contact naps. She don’t go sleep in the evening until 10-11 cause she fights for hours. Absolutely losing my head!

I find my son struggles a lot wirh naps in the evening and wont be put down but the past two nights ive had him in his carrier whilst doing stuff and hes stayed asleep making it a lot easier at bed time x

Mine is staying awake about 2.5 hours now which seems crazy to me! When he crashes during the day its usually only for about an hour or so, but thankfully at night he might now sleep 3-4 hours (not always lol) so it does make it feel a bit worth it! Dont worry about the late bedtime though, thats very normal for newborns!!! They usually go to bed later and get up later than older babies (sorry if you already know that lol). It gets earlier in the next few months I promise! But yeah its tough going. My first took a dummy and fell asleep pretty easy with her dummy, bottle, rocking or car, my second wont take a dummy, screams in the car lol!!!
My girl can stay awake hours which I find bizarre at this age lol, but it does make her overtired so I try force her to sleep before she gets to that point and I find she’s much more settled if she’s had good naps during the day! I don’t remember my first being awake that much 😅😂 my first also took a dummy but this one isn’t a fan, she will take it the odd time but it is hit and miss, also same here with the car, she doesn’t exactly love it but my first also hated the car as a baby sooo😂 this is the part I find difficult is the no particular routine with babies, which I do know is normal but it’s hard when you just want to go bed yourself, your like please just sleep 😂😂 but your right it definitely does get better and a bit more of a pattern in the next few months xx

We seem to be going through this to - 7 weeks today and wide awake from 6.30am to 12.30pm then slept for 40 mins 🫠 wild! Hoping he has a good sleep tonight lol
Can anyone tell me where I can get free formula the ar pink enfamil can by chance please?

Hi, any EBF mamas here - when did you get your first period back after giving birth? I am currently 4.5 months PP and haven’t gotten mine back yet, I know if you’re breastfeeding it normally takes a while to get it back but just curious to know how long it took others!

Diaper pic in comments. My 4 week old has had 2 diapers now with small amount of bright red blood. The first one was a normal yellow colored poop but this one is green. Of course the pediatrician is closed for the weekend so I’ll call them tomorrow but has anyone seen a diaper like this?

My Mil is visiting every other Saturday , stays for an hour or so to see my baby , never asks if i need any help or support knowing that i am struggling with taking care of baby, cleaning and cooking, doing my masters degree and also studying for my driving theory test. Yesterday she started asking me questions about when I am going to start sleep training cause she thinks my baby needs to learn how to be more independent (we cosleep). It really pisses me off that i have no help from her whatsoever but she dares to give me sarcastic advices even if this doesn’t impact her at all. She s saying that her kids used to rock themselves to sleep and was very adamant from the beginning that newborn are able to self sooth , making comments about me wearing the carrier to often , or the fact that i rock the baby to sleep. When i was pregnant she used to say that she will be here all the time to help me out cause my baby is her only grandchild, the only help i have ever received was a roast dinner the day i came back from the hospital after a c section. She was against me having an elective c section because she would not be able to be in the room when the baby was born , getting upset and talking behind my back to the whole family about the fact that i dont know what a c section implies( i recovered very quickly and it was the best decision ever).
Long story short, i am european and she is english, i know there are so many differences in our culture but it just pisses me off so much to the point where i absolutely hate having her around. Worst part is that i can t say anything because my partner loves her to death, obviously being his mom and also my family is not around and they are all i have. She knows i m dealing with postpartum depression, she knows i am feeling really lonely and i can t drive atm , but she just never seems to care or makes a little effort to make my life easier. Asking for advice, i am feeling really down atm and i feel like i started holding a grudge

We’re two weeks into this new chapter 💗
Would love to hear how you manage a newborn and a toddler, especially when you’re on your own with both. Any tips or little things that have helped you would be so appreciated! 🫶🏼💕

Hello, my baby is 6 weeks old and we are really struggling to get her to sleep lately.
She seems to fall asleep for 20 minutes then wakes up crying.
Has this happened to anyone else and is there any suggestions I can do to try and help her sleep longer?
