My husband has a childhood friend that has schizophrenia or something and of course he thinks he’s totally normal and doesn’t take meds. My FIL took him in off the street and got him a job trying to help him. Well the other day he asked my husband randomly where our oldest child goes to school. I have no idea why he asked and my husband didn’t ask him. He didn’t tell him of course.
Now the guy has lost his job and it must’ve been something bad because the owner chased him out. I feel like things are escalating with his mental health and Now I’m worried because he’s free all day, I’m afraid he’s going to try something with my child and his school. I’m sure he could find out if he put his mind to it.
I’m thinking about telling the school. What do you all think? Am I overreacting? It was literally just that one question but he had absolutely no reason to ask, and when my husband didn’t tell him he said “I find it more odd that you won’t tell me”. So he’s got something going on and I’m worried.

I would be sure to talk to the school just in case. It's better to overreact than under in cases like this.

Call, email and write a letter to the school.

I used to work in after school childcare and it's not all that unusual to have a certain adult blacklisted from pickup. Typically we would get ID and call the parent/guardian to confirm it's okay if someone we don't know comes to pick up a child anyway, but adding a name to their file is not a hassle to us or teachers and it's better to be safe than sorry. If they act like it's a big to-do, stand your ground. A lot of families have these kinds of boundaries for a lot of different reasons.
Anyone’s husband still
play video games or is it just my husband? It’s such a turn off for me 🤢 He just started using an old phone to play a game on there but prior he would go to the basement anytime he could to play but now he just sitting around up here on the phone playing games and it’s so f*cking annoying. He literally spent two hours this morning that phone then took it with him to the bathroom to play while he used the bathroom now he’s literally standing in the kitchen playing while I brush my daughter’s hair.

I’m so sorry this isn’t really about my baby or motherhood. I’m a single mum to a little boy and I’ve been working my absolute arse off whilst i can get baby free time but i just feel like im constantly broke. i always make sure my baby has everything and ill do whatever I can to make sure he has what he needs and wants. so i got myself into debt. he’s just had his bday so that was klarna and clearpay used. When i became a single mum i had no where to go so i had a loan for hotel rooms. I used a credit card to replace all his clothes, toys, bottles, steriliser, cot, walker etc. i left with nothing and had to build it all back up again. I try as much as i can to make the monthly payments etc but it’s just not helping. does anyone know how to get help with this ? I’ve called the company’s but non of them seem to understand or hear me. It’s like talking to a wall. I know it seems silly but I truly just wanted best for my little boy in a really hard and 💩 situation.
Thank you for taking time to read 🩵

If I spoon feed him it’ll take more than half a hour with MAXIMUM entertainment. If I blw he has maybe two mouthfuls on his own doing. He don’t even care if it’s sweet or savoury he will just not eat or want anything unless I force it.
Also he’s not teething. I’m so tired

My daughter has not long turned 17 months old and she won’t eat breakfast, won’t eat her lunch just won’t eat anything I give to her, I’m really struggling because she needs to eat something and she’s getting up multiple times a night likely because she’s hungry however refusing any kinds of food I give her, is anyone else dealing with this at all?

We have to stay with them on weekends every 4-6 weeks and each time we do I don’t feel like I get any chance to be near my baby other than when putting to bed (4 month old) to the point I come home feeling disconnected and it really gets me down, so much so that I feel like it’s making me fall out of love with my husband because I’m riddled with stress about spending time there. Is this normal to feel this way? Am I suffering with some kind of post natal issue?
