Maternity Pay
For the working mums, does your company offer any enhanced maternity pay?
My first baby in 2024, I received the first six weeks per usual (90% of my usual salary), and the following 33 weeks were enhanced by my work who added £1,500 per month on top of the statutory amount.
Just curious to know what other workplaces offer as I don't have many working mum friends to gauge off of in the UK. I am due for a pay rise now, but considering requesting an increase in the enhanced mat pay in lieu of a pay rise.
Would love to have some insight what other workplaces offer!

I get 8 weeks full 16 weeks half pay then smp for remaining. So that works out less than what you get now. I work in HR and would say that it's unlikely they'll enhance mat pay for one individual as it's procedure that should be applied consistently for equity
