I’m 5 weeks + 2 days, I’ve called 111 twice because I’ve had spotting and some strong cramps. I ended up referring myself for an early scan in which they said with my medical condition they want to scan me at 6 weeks on Friday but due to having surgery on that I’m having one on Monday. Has anyone else had a scan at 6 weeks 2 days and what could I possibly see if all is okay? 😊

I had an epu scan at 6w1d because of some spotting the week before and we saw a tiny heartbeat and a tiny little dot attached to the egg sack. Which was all normal. Spotting for a couple of days at your gestation is normally just implantation bleeding.
I was also concerned about my cramping, but my gp said they weren’t concerned because it was in the general area that I feel my usual period cramps. If it was lower and close to my pelvic bone they would have been concerned.
Hope your scan goes well! It’s all so scary this early! X

I had my scan Saturday & I was 6 weeks 5 days!

I had a scan 6 weeks 1 days saw the baby and heart beat x
Hello, can anyone advice please?
I dont want to give my daughter my partners surname. It's nothing to do with him, all to do with what I stand for and my morals.
Ive suggested double barrelling which he says it doesn't sound right, which tbh it doesn't. And I've suggested changing all our names to a completely made up one which he doesn't seem too happy about either.
Any advice please?

Went for my 35 weeks scan last weeks and they estimated baby at 2.4kg at 35 + 4. All my pregnancy apps show this is the exact weight to expect for this time but at the scan the doctor said he would like me to have another scan in 2 weeks. They said the baby is in the average but on the small side of the average. I know these estimates are not super accurate but wondered if this happened to anybody else ?

hey guys! i’m pregnant with my first and am so torn between a c-section or a vaginal/natural birth? i never really imagined myself having a c-section but with 1 in 4 births being emergency c-sections nowadays, i don’t know if i should just psych myself up for one?
would love to know what other mums have done, birth experiences, if you’ve done both etc.
TIA! xxx

A bit of a long shot, but I’m just looking for a bit of advice - I had my second baby in April this year. After having her, everything was fine. My periods quickly returned to my normal cycle, I started back on Desogestrel in the May. However in August, I randomly got 2 periods in one month. My cycle now is just bleeding more than not, my doctors are saying that it’s just hormones, however I never once experienced this with my first - and it is full blown bleeding, having to double up with pads due to it being so heavy and the pain is unreal ☹️ does anybody have any advice ?!
