Just wondering if anyone else has been told this at their 20 week scan? At first I was worried but I've come to terms with it now. However, I am cautious that I am not feeling baby much. I believe its due to the low lying placenta. Anyone else feel the same?? I asked the sonographer if I'd be less likely to feel when they'd informed me of this and he said they say this is a high chance...

Hey! I’ve got an anterior placenta too, I found out at my 14 week private scan because I was worried about lack of movement. Turns out it’s getting cushioned quite a bit and I’m only now starting to feel some kicks every now and again but nowhere near a proper pattern yet. My last pregnancy was a posterior placenta and I felt baby consistently since quite early on. So it’s definitely an adjustment this time around!

I also have an anterior placenta and this is my first pregnancy. I really wasn't feeling much at all with movements until the last 1-2 weeks and definitely feeling some kicks now! Apparently it can take up to 24 weeks so just hold on but you'll get to the point where you can feel it!

My first pregnancy was posterior placenta and my second was anterior and again this one (my third) is an anterior placenta again, they say movements are a little harder to feel but they soon make up for it when baby is getting big, so much so that I didn’t actually know I had an anterior in my last pregnancy (second one) until I compared notes this time around!!
So to be honest I didn’t really notice much difference from my first pregnancy (as I think you don’t feel as much too early in the first pregnancy) to the second pregnancy.
I have videos from the second pregnancy of my belly moving and I felt lots kicks especially in the last trimester with my anterior placenta.
I’m 21 weeks now and I’ve started to feel movement and odd kicks in the last week 😊 xx

Im 20 weeks tomorrow and not felt a thing yet!

It's not something to worry about, it's just one of these things. My first baby I had an anterior placenta and again this pregnancy. It may take a bit longer to feel if it's your first pregnancy but you'll still feel lots, it's not something to worry about.
Hi Mummas 👋🏼
Does it look like my bump is dropping already at 34 weeks?
FTM! I have a feeling she is coming early. Horrific pelvic girdle pain and constantly moving! She’s been head down since 30 weeks. Measuring on track at 53rd percentile.
Interested to know your thoughts! 🩷

Heya so possibly TMI but question for all the c section mommas
So my 6 weeks post c section was Oct 7th and my partner and I have been sexually active since then, every time we do (and it’s a very weird way to explain it but only way I know how) I get that uncomfortable pain like when you can feel that you need to change a tampon and it starts to be too uncomfortable, I only get this feeling during and after sex and have never felt this before the c section. Even after a natural birth with my first boy everything was fine. Is this normal to have this feeling?

I was sat in bed just now and when I stood up there was a large wet patch on the bed, I didn’t even notice it happening. It wasn’t huge but more than any sort of discharge patch I’ve had before. Also I’m usually a bit wet down there with the discharge but it’s dry all of a sudden. Have my waters broken or just a one off large discharge maybe? It only had a faint smell

I have been scheduled to have a c-section on the 2nd of November due to some complications with my twins (I'll be 37 weeks)... the boys have been both head down for a while so I prepared myself for vaginal delivery but suddenly my waters have increased and both of them flipped into transverse position. What are your recommendations for an easier recovery? I have heard the post op pillow is useful but is there anything else I should consider buying? Are the silicone type patches for c-sections worth it? I will also be staying at the hospital from Friday meaning a longer hospital stay so I can be monitored and be on strict bed rest so I only have a few days to prepare 😬

Baby is 7 weeks this Wednesday. Scar is healed with no pain when pushed etc. However, my actual stomach / around and above my bellybutton still hurts with pressure. I can’t lay on my front. It all just feels mad bruised! At what point is this no longer normal? My stomach looks slightly swollen too. It looks more swollen than the week following the section! Do I contact a Dr?🫠. Thankyou xx
