Homemade Christmas gifts Yay or Nay?

I’m a Pinterest girl to my core and I plan to hand make all the gifts we’re giving this year. I got a huge supply of white oak logs for free and know how to woodwork. Butter, sugar, and oranges were on sale and I know how to bake and use my dehydrator. I have tons of Christmas fabric scraps and own a sewing machine. And I know how to make all of these things from things I already own or regularly buy. So I am trying figure out if homemade gifts are something people still appreciate getting or if they see it as less important than a gift that they ordered? This is the inspiration behind what I’m planning to make people. We have a list of over 40 people to gift to this year and we’re a single income family so I wanted to save as much as humanly possible

Definitely yay! I love receiving handmade gifts! The ring/trinket dish idea is especially cool.

It's way more memorable to receive something handmade rather than something ordered off of Amazon or whatever. A couple years ago I was really tight on cash and made soy wax candles with pressed flower inclusions for my family and friends, everyone loved them and asked me to make more! 🙂

Love these ideas! I think handmade gifts are wonderful, and would be so happy to receive something that someone made with love.

I love home made gifts personally! But I do think they ought to be specifically thoughtful to each person. I know some people might view home made in a bad light but I really think that mindset happens when you receive something you dont want but feel too bad to give it away because of the thoughtful effort. But honestly baked goods are probably safe bet for just about everyone!

Wanting to get pregnant with my second child

My husband and I had sex while I was ovulating. He did finish inside me. My question is HOW likely is it to get pregnant for that? When I got pregnant with my 1st child we just had sex on a random Tuesday morning and didn’t think anything of it. I didn’t do any research I just continued with my life. I’m wondering if the stress plays a role in not getting pregnant? Also online says its under 40% likely hood of getting pregnant

Am I the only one?

I am sure I am not, and I don’t want to seem ungrateful because I’ve wanted this forEVER and struggled to convince. But it’s like my brain can’t catch up with the fact I am pregnant when I step on the scales? I am nearly 22 weeks and started at 9st 4 and I am now 10st 7-9 depending on time of day. I know it’s because I am growing a human, boobs are bigger, water, extra blood and so many other factors, but it’s like my brain can’t accept it? It feels so lonely and I feel so bad saying it 😓 - does anyone else feel similar?

Does your partner get excited?

Men can be strange but generally do most men get excited when they find out you’re pregnant? Mines negative about money, sleep, will it ruin our relationship? His brother even said today ‘ are you keeping it’ and he said ‘ think so’ I burst into tears. How should they be ? Thank you
