I’ve really let my self go this pregnancy- now to give my self some leeway, this pregnancy has been 10x harder on me than my first (I swear my first pregnancy was so easy, no problems, no cravings other than protein and was able to work out through out it).
This pregnancy food aversion are huge and the only thing I ever want to eat are carbs. I’m so tired all the time like to the point where I have taken naps ( literally my entire life I’ve not been a nap person, only naps I’ve taken as an adult came on cause of medication making me sleepy- this includes my previous pregnancy) I have horrible sciatic pain that comes and goes constantly and it’s sometimes so bad it I can’t walk . I’ve been having false labor since around 34 weeks.
With all of that I don’t have the energy to get ready EVER, I’ve gain about 3lbs over my max I should have gained and I still have 3 weeks until my due date, I stopped stretching and any light work outs. I even stopped hitting my step goal 🤦♀️.
It’s a little to late but I’m forcing myself to go on walks every afternoon now, and stretch for atleast 30 minutes a day(given I’m not in immense pain)
I just feel so disappointed in my self, my muscle is basically non existent now and all I want to do is to tell my self to get tf up and work out but I know once I give birth I’m going to have to take at least 6 weeks before I can fully start working out again. I already have my postpartum work outs planned out until January 1, 2028 but I just feel so bad about myself cause I let myself get like this. Any ways just needed to complain thank you for reading my ted talk

I’m so sorry that you feel like that, my first and only pregnancy was a bad experience because I didn’t gain weight, I lost it and it was a huge thing in my life , I was always throwing up and I couldn’t process any food without feeling nausea, I understand every mom will tell you different stories or the simple “hope you feel better” but in my case was always important to vent because isn’t okay to keep all those things inside of us in silence. This is just a process, unfortunately pregnancy is the proof of how strong we are , an I said unfortunately because for some mothers are really tough. Of course I hope you feel better but always remind yourself to find support in people who love you and will help you in this process. We can chat anytime ☺️

Give yourself some time, your body is working overtime to build an entire human. Before getting pregnant, I was very active and loved working out. I continued to workout in my first trimester but then severe pelvic pain and crazy fatigue hit me. I didn’t really have much of a choice but rest. It drove me crazy and I stressed about my weight and how I’m gonna handle it postpartum. I told myself that I’m not gonna risk injury or my health because keeping this baby healthy and having a healthy delivery are the most important. I did what I can with exercise ball, stretching, and a walking pad. Fast forward to having my baby and I had a complicated labor and ended up having a longer recovery time than expected. But when I was finally able to, I slowly started getting active again and got into a consistent routine. I’m almost 4 months postpartum and though there are days where I hate how I feel and how my body is, I need to keep reminding myself that I just had a baby, and it’ll take time.

Girl if it makes you feel any better I gained wayyyy too much and also dealt with the carbs I am disgusted with myself. Pre pregnancy was 119 delivery was 195 now 175 and 3months pp

You’re pregnant, not letting yourself go!! Remember, cravings serve a purpose depending on what your baby needs. I was really sick like that with my baby girl but she was born perfectly healthy. It’s just for now, it’s ok to just rest. I was really active before my pregnancy and just stopped everything not even halfway through. All my muscle disappeared too but I had horrible pelvic pain. I felt amazing once I delivered, the end is near. Walks and stretching is good for you but don’t torture yourself over it. I really feel like the min/max weight you should gain during pregnancy is bs. Be kind to yourself girlie 🫶

Yessss!!! I was 125 pre pregnancy and was very active and fit. At delivery I was 190 and after delivery I was 180 for the longest time maybe even 5 months pp. I was having a hard time managing my diet and just did not have the time or energy or the mental energy to get myself to workout. I would do my daily walks with my baby but only that. I’m now 9 months pp and I’m only now starting to she doff the weight since baby girl has now gotten better at sleeping and there is more routine in my day. It’s hard hienstly and it’s hard to explain to others who haven’t experienced it because it’s like you want it so bad yet are unable to get yourself to do it even though you know you’re capable of doing it because you’ve seen yourself fit pre pregnancy. Pp is more mental than physical at times even though the physical aspect is also intense
Can anyone please give me some insight on what they chose to do with their placenta.

Hi Mummas 👋🏼
Does it look like my bump is dropping already at 34 weeks?
FTM! I have a feeling she is coming early. Horrific pelvic girdle pain and constantly moving! She’s been head down since 30 weeks. Measuring on track at 53rd percentile.
Interested to know your thoughts! 🩷

Hi,this is going to come across the wrong way but has anyone else had a scan at 31 weeks and thought oh she/he has a big nose 😂 absolutely gorgeous still but has anyone thought this and it be a totally different story when they’re born?

I have been scheduled to have a c-section on the 2nd of November due to some complications with my twins (I'll be 37 weeks)... the boys have been both head down for a while so I prepared myself for vaginal delivery but suddenly my waters have increased and both of them flipped into transverse position. What are your recommendations for an easier recovery? I have heard the post op pillow is useful but is there anything else I should consider buying? Are the silicone type patches for c-sections worth it? I will also be staying at the hospital from Friday meaning a longer hospital stay so I can be monitored and be on strict bed rest so I only have a few days to prepare 😬

Heya so possibly TMI but question for all the c section mommas
So my 6 weeks post c section was Oct 7th and my partner and I have been sexually active since then, every time we do (and it’s a very weird way to explain it but only way I know how) I get that uncomfortable pain like when you can feel that you need to change a tampon and it starts to be too uncomfortable, I only get this feeling during and after sex and have never felt this before the c section. Even after a natural birth with my first boy everything was fine. Is this normal to have this feeling?

I was sat in bed just now and when I stood up there was a large wet patch on the bed, I didn’t even notice it happening. It wasn’t huge but more than any sort of discharge patch I’ve had before. Also I’m usually a bit wet down there with the discharge but it’s dry all of a sudden. Have my waters broken or just a one off large discharge maybe? It only had a faint smell
