Balance Working Remote😳

I only have to do this for a half day a week but... I work in the civil service and they are incredibly flexible, so it doesn't matter (within reason) when I do my hours and I can split them up which immediately helps. I schedule all my meetings and do all my more focused tasks on the days I do have childcare, saving myself easier jobs for when I have my little boy home with me. I try to get on early and do an hour whilst he's having breakfast and watching some Thomas the Tank Engine or something (I know screen time isn't great but needs must). I then normally take him out somewhere so he has some direct attention and time with me which makes him less fussy, and then he'll normally have a nap for an hour and a half or so. I'll work then, and then when he's up having lunch, and often finish stuff off when my husband gets home from work. Don't know what I'll do when he stops napping. Absolutely could not do it everyday. It's not for the faint of heart whatever though 🥲

My husband and I both work from home, full time, and we’re still not expecting to be able to parent while doing it. We have a lot of downtime currently but both our schedules will be changing quite a bit before the baby arrives, so we signed up for a daycare once both our leave will be over (taking them sequentially) and we’ll see how often she needs to go but kinda expecting full time. Which is so expensive.

If anyone has a NON phone work from home job that can recommend me 🥰🥰 i work from home right but i would love to get off the phones
