Sick baby - baby daddy drama.

Am I going crazy? My baby has been sick for the last few days and I have not been getting sleep or taking care of myself cuz I have been too focused on him lately. After my man got home from work didn’t say hi or asked how I was doing just immediately got into the shower and was gone for 30 mins. I get it not a big deal but I feel like this is when we have a sick baby. Am I in the wrong for getting mad?

Not wrong. Hand the baby over and take some time for yourself, also go and have a shower/bath. If he has time for one, so should you. He created the baby with you and should also be capable of caring for your baby while you have shower/bath.

Everything isn't always going to be equal or 50/50 but as a bare minimum you should have the time to look after yourself.

A reminder that showering is not you taking a break ❤️❤️❤️. You at least need to give yourself that. So does he

You’re not wrong. Tell him you need help and to shower too. Also, he should speak to you when he comes through the door but if that doesn’t usually happen then I’ll assume something was on his mind and he was distracted.

What do you do with your kids?

My husband and I have been arguing. I want to just do the trunk or treat. He wants to do traditional only. Last year we did neither (had a wedding), but every other year we do both. This year we agreed to only do one because we’ve got a lot going on. It’s been a heated debate since.

We are being inundated with questions for what we want for our 6 month old for Christmas. Any suggestions for toys or baby gear that has been absolute game changers for your 6 month - 1 years olds?

Meal Ideas.

Rice is usually our go to carb when it’s dinner time but lately my toddler is on a rice strike and will only eat his protein. What sides are you guys doing for dinner? My toddler will not eat mashed potatoes/ eats too much fries.

When’s the right time?

When is a good time to start buying things for baby? All I’ve bought is a hat and scared to buy anything more incase something goes wrong 😭😩 also any recommendations on affordable travel systems? I can’t justify spending so much money on a travel system that will grow out of most of the things by 6months-1 year.
