Pregnancy

I am 38 years old.. I'm not 40 yet. I've been using the premom app. It says its ovulation day but I also took easy home ovulation test this morning. My LH levels are still low. Is anyone else experiencing this?

The problem is age , I was in the same boat. I would do tests for egg reserves if I was you and maybe go straight for ivf

I found home test more accurate my app would say it's was around 4-5 days after my actual ovulation day from the home test. It took a few months in my 40s to get in the swing of it but I convinced naturally twice doing home tests and sex 5 days in a row! Including say after ov day.

Just my experience though

Have you been tracking your cycles and logging symptoms etc? Im 40 and it took 4 months to fall pregnant. However when I had my 10 and 13 year olds it took 6months and 1 year. Everyone is different. Maybe get checked if its been some time TTC

I respectfully disagree with Nadia.
So many women are able to conceive naturally at older age, but are told otherwise and don’t have the right support. Of course some women struggle even at an earlier age, it’s all so unique and everyone is different.
If I were you, I would firstly book in to see a fertility expert who can do an advanced ultrasound scan to see how things look within your body and take it from there. If everything is looking good with no major issues, there is absolutely no reason why you couldn’t get pregnant naturally, it may just take a little longer. And timing is crucial, they can also help you with that.
IVF is a big business and expensive, not to mention pretty stressful - I would first make sure you really need it before rushing to it.

I would also start with a talk to your OB/GYN. Have you ever been pregnant before, miscarried? I'm asking, because you could ask about having your cervical scraping. For some reason it helps the egg attach easier.

Then use the home ovulating test strips. Best wishes ❤️
