How soon can you introduce a dummy?

My little girl is only 11 days old, but she needs to suckle on my nipple or her hands to fall asleep. I don’t want her to suck her thumb I’d rather have her use a dummy. She stays on my boob after feeds but gets annoyed by the milk coming out as she isn’t hungry, so I am wondering if I should maybe give her a dummy already but I am worried that I is too early?!

Internet says 4 weeks but I gave my baby one after a week. It’s fine! In fact the hospital gave him one when he had to get a lot of blood tests done. They weren’t worried about negative effects

My baby was same so I gave her dummy few days ago, she spits it out when she falls asleep and doesn’t need it again… shes 20 days today

Different sources will give you different answers, but I would personally ride it out for now to allow your supply to regulate! Will she sleep chest to chest or in the C-curl with you after feeding to sleep? I find unlatching immediately after a second let down helps them to go into a slightly deeper sleep and not need to stay latched x

In exactly the same position. Little boy has been getting so upset when the milk is still coming, but still wanting to latch. He ends up with terrible trapped wind as a result! So I did start using a dummy a couple of days ago and it’s definitely helped without affecting his latch xxx

Our little boy was in NICU so they gave him a dummy and we have continued with it, he also breastfeeds. I must admit he’s not overly bothered by the dummy but it’s there if we want it x

Kid pees through diaper at night.

Boy mama help!!

My lil man keeps peeing through his diapers/ pjs at night so we sizes up to a 2 diaper and he still managed to do this last night again..

We put him down at 830 with fresh diaper and he wakes up for next feed anywhere between 1-3am..

We currently use huggies

Edit: he’s 11 weeks

Mounjaro/Wegovy

Has anyone used either of these? Obviously there is a large difference in price - are they worth it?
I need to feel confident again and I cannot physically loose this weight after my second child. I had friends be on it and they look amazing but not heard anyone be on Wegovy!

Thanks 😘

Long sleep!

I accidentally let my five week old have a seven hour sleep between feeds! We were all sleeping so deeply that my alarm didn’t wake me up for her feed. She eventually woke me up but she wasn’t screaming and she wasn’t upset, she was just stirring in her cot next to me. I definitely would have heard her if she had woken up earlier. (She is breastfed and well above her birth weight)

Has this happened to anyone else??

Naps

I feel like im going insane please help me or at least help me understand why…
My daughters nearly 8 months old, she has 2 naps a day and sleeps all night from in between 7pm - 6am, however her naps are only 25 minutes to 30 minutes each is this normal? i’ve made sure her wake windows are good, ive put her in her cot in a dark room, ive tried everything it’s quite frustrating i can’t lie as she gets exhausted by 4pm😢

11 month old refusing second nap

I am FREAKING OUT! Today my 11 month old point blank refused his second nap, he ended up being awake for 7 hours and 20 minutes and I know this is too long 😫 but I tried and tried to get him to nap, I tried every 20 minutes from 2:45 till 5pm and he just wouldn’t go down. What the hell is this!? What am I supposed to do tomorrow?!

Rant 😂

Is anyone else finding recovery really hard?? I’ve completely underestimated the whole thing and being 12 weeks postpartum now, I thought things would be getting better, not worse. The episiotomy and tears I had are still sore, I’ve got new tears which are so painful, my pelvic floor is shot and I can’t bend my spine backwards.
I’m so so enjoying being a mom and I love her to pieces but I just feel like I can’t fully move on from what was quite a traumatic birth
Rant over 😂
