11 month old refusing second nap

When does he wake, when was first nap, when is bedtime?

Sometimes they just fight them and then the day after it's back to normal.

Sounds like he is ready to start transitioning. It may be messy, some days he needs 2 some days 1 and eventually just 1! And life becomes so much easier and predictable, it’s rough but works out nice in the end!

My daughter normally gets up between 7-8am, has 2 naps (totals about 2.5hrs) and goes to bed anywhere between 8:30-10:30, depending on time/length of last nap.

Today she didnt nap til nearly 12 and for nearly 2 hours, so I decided in my ?wisdom to try and skip the 2nd nap and see if I could keep her awake til 7ish (would make it 2x 5hr wake windows) and give me some down time and a more reasonable bedtime for myself. She made it to 18:40 ans crashed after her bath and not quite a whole bottle.

Have I just set myself a whirlwind giggling 5am alarm clock?? Or potentially started a routine where I get some of the evening to myaelf? 🤞😂

When mine was 12 months she just decided she wasn't napping at all, ever again. They're just getting older 👍

My 10 month old sometimes only has 1 nap for 20/30 mins, I just play it by what she needs instead of expecting the same routine everyday, seems to put less pressure on myself and her. She sleeps through and has done since tiny and hasn’t ever messed with her night sleep.. just sometimes 1 nap is enough sometimes it’s not.. sometimes can be a few hour naps combined but like I say others can be under an hour all in.. think it’s just them getting bigger 🥲🫶🏼

My 12 month old has all of a sudden decided she no longer wants her second nap too🫠 most days I just keep her awake until midday so she has one big nap! I’d love her to stick to two naps for longer but it’s just not happening😂🫣

My daughter gave up her second nap around that time and just went onto 1 nap! If they’re fighting it constantly then it’s time to drop it

Mine dropped to one nap around this age. It was definitely before he turned one as it was before I went back to work
