My baby is 9 days old today and he has some red blood in his nappy from his poop. Had taken him to A&E and the poo became normal so we got sent home. Since then it’s happened once again. Does anyone know what this can be? He’s seems himself everywhere else

It can be a symptom of CMPA. Does baby have any other symptoms?

Could be soya or milk intolerance. If you're breastfeeding maybe stop eating foods that contain soya and milk and see how baby reacts in couple weeks. Then slowly introduce again milk and then if everything is good then soya.

Ours had this once at a similar age - the doctor thought he ruptured a vessel after doing a big poo earlier in the day. Since then there hasn't been a repeat. Worth keeping an eye, taking pictures for monitoring and getting them checked again if it persists

Was our sign that our daughter had CMPA

Blood in stool is a sign of inflammation which is usually an indicator of CMPA. My daughter has CMPA and she had blood

there are soooooo many things it could be, most benign but not all. CMPA is a possibility though it's also overdiagnosed and really rare to have this as an only symptom (according to our gp as we're currently trying to get our own LO investigated for the same issue). if it's bright red and just spots, get some nappy cream and make sure you really lather it on, including at the opening of the bum, as the most common cause is a tear and these are very common in babies whose digestive tracts are still developing. however if it gets worse, darker, or has mucus or doesn't clear up in a week then go to a gp. they may well direct you back to a&e just to rule out anything nefarious. as others have said, take photos and it might help to keep a log of when there's blood
Boy mama help!!
My lil man keeps peeing through his diapers/ pjs at night so we sizes up to a 2 diaper and he still managed to do this last night again..
We put him down at 830 with fresh diaper and he wakes up for next feed anywhere between 1-3am..
We currently use huggies
Edit: he’s 11 weeks

Has anyone used either of these? Obviously there is a large difference in price - are they worth it?
I need to feel confident again and I cannot physically loose this weight after my second child. I had friends be on it and they look amazing but not heard anyone be on Wegovy!
Thanks 😘

I am FREAKING OUT! Today my 11 month old point blank refused his second nap, he ended up being awake for 7 hours and 20 minutes and I know this is too long 😫 but I tried and tried to get him to nap, I tried every 20 minutes from 2:45 till 5pm and he just wouldn’t go down. What the hell is this!? What am I supposed to do tomorrow?!

Is anyone else finding recovery really hard?? I’ve completely underestimated the whole thing and being 12 weeks postpartum now, I thought things would be getting better, not worse. The episiotomy and tears I had are still sore, I’ve got new tears which are so painful, my pelvic floor is shot and I can’t bend my spine backwards.
I’m so so enjoying being a mom and I love her to pieces but I just feel like I can’t fully move on from what was quite a traumatic birth
Rant over 😂

Oh girls I feel like a right mug. I was seeing this guy for a month and a bit, really liked him. He ghosted me last month and he’s just posted about being on holiday with his girlfriend. I feel like a mug, stupid, an idiot. I believe I didn’t deserve to be just tossed to the side, into the unknown like I was nothing. I said this and he’s removed me. It’s so stupid I’m just so gutted because after a devastating breakup the year before, I was so happy I finally found someone I liked and now I’m back to being alone. I mean it must be me right? People just use me as a stepping stone to get what they want. I don’t think I can keep going in this circle. I’m sorry I know this is a rant I just needed to get it off my chest … to a bunch of strangers 🤣🙈

Hi moms, i am looking for some pointers/advices regarding speech delays in 5 year old boy. Its for one of my friends son who doesnt talk much, he does say a few words and hums music. My friend is getting a speech therapy, but its going a bit slow.
Is there any mom who went through this phase with their kids or know someone who had same issue and what were the steps they took to help their kids to be able to speak well.
Thank you very much in advance.
