The uk guide lines say to sterilise up until 12 months, which I find a bit excessive. But in America they say up until 3 months?

Yeah we’ll be doing it to at least 6/7 months when he comes off formula.

Sterilization is required for as long as they consume formula x

You need to sterilise whilst still using formula as it contains harmful bacteria. Other things such as dummies or teethers etc you could stop earlier if you really wanted to but definitely not the bottles

i had my first in 2024, bottles were absolutely always sterilised every time, as well as teething toys etc. dummies not so much as unless you have one of those tiny portable sterilisers, you literally can’t keep it clean 24/7. it’s just not worth any risk at the end of the day although i fully understand the BALLACHE of it. after about a month of bottle feeding we bought the Nuby UV steriliser and i will never stop recommending it, its around £100 which is pretty expensive, however, its lasted so well our 2nd is using it now and its in amazing condition. it saved SO much time and made bottles so much easier, no waiting to cool down or wait for steam to go etc. i really really cannot recommend it enough, literally chuck a dry bottle in and three mins later its done, dry, ready for milk!
I have a 5 month old, he’s keeps weeing through his nappy especially of a night! Doesn’t happen all the time, but when it does it’s strangely on his back left. Family have said it could be from his Willy being up when putting the nappy on but I make sure to check this everytime. Any advice please 🩵

I hope someone can help me. I am 5 and a half months postpartum. I had a C section. I super clingy baby so I haven’t been able to be very active. I now struggle when lying down. I am in so much pain when turning around. My hips hurt a lot!! When I get up in the middle of the night it takes me some time to walk comfortably. Please tell me someone has been through similar to this and can help me out. My hips, lower back and thighs.

What time are you setting your 4–5-month old’s bedtime? My LO likes to be up at 5:30 AM, and with daylight saving time coming up, I’m wondering if I’m putting him to bed too late and if that’s affecting how late he sleeps.. 🤔

Anyone noticed a really strong smell of chlorine on bottles after using Milton sterilising tablets? We’re away at the moment and our baby’s bottles stink of it despite the correct amounts being used and them being rinsed. Bit worried they might be able to taste it too. Is this normal?
