Are you breastfeeding or formula feeding?

If you're using bottles, try making sure the nipple stays completely filled with milk while feeding so he's not swallowing extra air! Burping him often and keeping him upright after feeds can help too. ❤️ But since he's so little and screaming in pain and refusing to eat, I'd definitely have the nurses check him out while you're still at the hospital! Poor baby, hope he feels better soon! 💙

I would definitely get a midwife to watch you feed baby. Is he only like this when he is feeding?

Is he back arching, bringing milk up etc ??
if he is crying a lot then he’s definitely taking in a lot of air which would make him feel uncomfortable.

Mine has too and f started taking baby Pepcid prescribed by his pediatrician and getting better ❤️‍🩹 please talk to your pediatrician
Keep him upright for 30 mins after feeding him and burn in between feedings

It feels like every 2026 baby got reflux. Mine had the same problem! In the hospital would barely eat. It’ll get better. Soon as we got home she did a lot better. I just had to feed a lot more frequently. Like if she only ate 20 ML I’d try again in like 20 minutes just keep trying! Good luck mama

My baby was like this too but it didn’t start this soon. In the first 24 hours of him being born he was refusing to feed and turned out he had an infection and need iv antibiotics. Hopefully isn’t the case with your baby but I’d look out for symptoms of reflux and colic like arching his back or bringing his legs up to his stomach. GP would probs prescribe infant Gaviscon but it can have other side effects like constipation. When that didn’t work for my baby I changed his milk to cow & gate colic and constipation formula as it breaks down milk proteins and sugars so it’s easier for baby to digest. It made a difference within a couple of days for us but he is still very sicky but it’s better than having him in pain all day. Defo mention to a midwife if you are still at the hospital but if it’s still continuing once discharged take him to the gp and see what they recommend before changing formulas x

I ended up having to switch my sons formula because his was so bad (some formula made it 10x worse) but even when we did if we didn’t burp every oz there was a chance he would throw it all up from reflux and the dr basically told me he would outgrow it which he did almost completely now at almost 10 months

Sex After Baby

What does your sex life look like now after kids? My husband and I are still quite active, mind you it took a little bit for my drive to come back. But I feel like the more effort I put in (wearing lingerie or surprising him) the quicker my sex drive was able to come back. Curious what others are doing/ feeling about it.

Sleep training advice

I am 4 weeks into the 4 month sleep regression and I’m really struggling to cope with the hourly wake ups. I’m willing to do anything to make our nights better, is sleep training recommended during the regression? If so, what methods worked for you? I don’t want to do CIO method. Any suggestions so welcomed!

Postnatal depression

I am 99% sure I am suffering with postnatal depression, I have a 5 month old and I just don’t want to live anymore, I convince myself he would be better without me and I can’t help but feel like everything I do is wrong and I constantly worry about him even though I’m the one who has lost 3 stone in weight and am physically and mentally so unwell.

I worry if I speak to my GP or a health visitors they will take him from me. I’m also a single mum. Has anyone got any experience ? Or know any support.

How much sleep in a 24hr period for baby for 18 weeks?

Are everyone’s babies getting 12-16 hours of sleep in a 24hr period? I can’t get my daughter to sleep more than 10-11 hours in a 24hr period including her daytime naps.. I’m not sure what to do or how to get her to sleep more during daytime.
