My first baby only stopped contact naps at 12 months. It’s completely normal 🫶🏻

I have tried to get her to nap in her bassinet but she lasts 10 minutes 😅

Same, 3 month and 1 week old and contact naps is the only way…if I attempt to move him it last 5min and we have an overstimulated baby :( no fun x

I'm having this problem and now having to cosleep too as he just won't sleep in his bassinet

Yeah I feel as though I’m failing as he will literally only sleep in my arms! Having to carrier nap him now so I can get things done 😭

Yeah my 4 month old did there’s absolutely nothing wrong with it!! Don’t let anyone make you feel like there is because your baby just needs that comfort and love from mummy!!

4 and a half months and still contact napping. I’m soaking it all in though as I know one day she won’t want it anymore and I’ll miss these days. Sore arms won’t last forever but the memories of these days will! Xx

3 months 2 weeks and naps on me during the day

Yeah and most people tell me that hes going to be a mardarse and that Im making a rod for my own back but then they want to hold him whilst hes sleeping 🙄
Has anyone got any recommendations for a smaller pram bag?
Little boy no longer has bottles, and eats out a lot!!
Needing a small bag that I can fit a few nappies, wipes, couple snacks, and a change of clothes!

PLEASE can someone help me rationalise, or tell me I’m being silly-either way🤣
My baby is 6 months old today, I kept sending my partner and my family cakes etc that celebrated 6 months of breast feeding, I hinted in jokey ways that I wanted a mini celebration for baby turning 6 months old but also to recognise that I’ve EBF for 6 months.
I know so many mothers do it, it’s very normal, but I’m personally so so proud that I’ve breastfed for this long, I’ve had mastitis 3x, suspected sepsis and an MRSA infection of my scar. Not once did I waiver.
I usually feel so appreciated by my partner. But I’ve had messages etc today saying happy 6 months to baby, but not a single message to recognise the fact that I’ve independently kept him nourished this whole time?🤣
I’m emotional today so if someone tells me I’m being dramatic, it’s probably what I need to hear lol.

Is anyone else’s baby struggling with the fireworks tonight? Mines screaming and shaking, he’s terrified!!! Looks like we’re getting no rest tonight until they finish!!! I’ve tried playing music, tv, singing, nothing is helping 😭😭

Ever since starting nursery in June, my little one has really struggled to sleep when there. I’ve had countless conversations with numerous staff, gone through his routines and the nursery really have listened and tried to replicate as much as they can. However it’s now evident that the setting in which the babies sleep in just isn’t suited to my sons sleep needs and no matter how much of a routine is tried he just won’t ever manage to sleep. I’ve been so upset and angry this evening as after a long 8hr day my son has had no daytime sleep at all. At home he is still mostly needing 2 naps a day and this is the first time he has ever gone without anything at all. I don’t know what more I can do now as I don’t feel I can continue sending him in when the sleep issues are worsening. He has gone to bed and I’m really hoping he hasn’t got too overtired and will settle down for the night☹️

So my partner suffers with his mental health quite badly (PTSD, anxiety and depression) sometimes he’s better than other times obviously but these past few weeks have been horrendous! We’ve hit rock bottom in our relationship because of this but I just wanted to get off my chest that everytime we have a chat about how he’s gonna get through it and what helps his answer is always ‘you’ and as nice as that is and I’m always there 110% to support him I feel as though there’s a lot on my shoulders with that like I’ve got a lot to deal with and that his sanity and stability just relies on me and it’s just a lot so just wanted to know if anyone else is going through or has been through this and has any advice! Thanks! X

Hi mums ❤️ Just looking for some advice! My little boy is nearly 11 months and has been exclusively breastfed. I’m trying to introduce formula and gradually stop daytime breastfeeding, but he’s really resisting bottles when awake. Some days he’ll take 3–4oz, other times barely 1oz or refuses completely.
Has anyone been through something similar? How did you get your little ones to accept formula? Would love to hear your experiences! 🥰
