Sleep Regressions

My babe is 8 almost 9 months now and is waking every two hrs at night again, breastfeeding to the rescue but it’s still challenging for an insomniac

My 5 month started doing a long stretch at night relatively early. But then some where near the end of her 4th month and the beginning of her 5th month she woke up every two hours. I panicked and thought it was because of the birth control lowering my supply so would feed her for those night wakes. But then it continued and recently she got sick and of course that means frequent feedings. I’m just so ready to sleep for at least 4 hours straight. It’s definitely become habit forming for her and I am at the point of “Ugh fine, just go back to sleep with my breast!” for every hour/two hours she wakes up. But I know I need to get her back into a better sleep habit *sigh*. It’s hard though because when I’m half asleep I have no will power 🤷🏻‍♀️. But my plan for now (which I haven’t been great at) is to sleep feed her around 12 am and try to keep her asleep until 5/6 am. I know we should feed a child whenever they want but I need my sanity. If she can sleep through that 3 am feeding I would LOVE it.

Our seven month old is fighting sleeping in his bassinet. He wants to be next to me in our bed. Its getting to be too hard. My arms are so sore come morning and I cant move at night.

I cant tell if my 5 month girl is teething or just hates sleeping.😳😴😴😵

I think ours is a mixture but the next to me crib has been a lifesaver as I can then just scoop him up. I keep everything I need for the night in my changing caddy nappies/wipes/muslin/teething gel/calpol and a toy

My 8 month old is up every couple of hours..... it’s maddening and exhausting. I’m told to just hang in there and snuggle them through it 🤷🏻‍♀️

My 2 year old is going through this hardcore. Seems like he is up every 30 minutes or so. Been driving us crazy! We have been trying to put him back to bed every time but usually after the 4-5th time we have been giving up and bringing him to our bed. I know we are horrible, but getting up at 6am for work after being up with him all night is just too much and I am forever exhausted!

My daughter is 21 months old she wakes up every couple hours I give her s boob change her diaper and put her back to bed but then I have a she's time going to bed my self so when I get up the next morning it's a little hard so coffee to the rescue

It’s probably time for sleep training. First try put the baby down for a nap the same time every day (the last nap should be done by 4pm) and keep all the meals same time every day. An hour before bed time try not to have tv on, or loud music (you can have some relaxing spa music on though) and the lights not very bright. And then choose one of the sleep training methods and go with it. We usedThe Ferber method with all 3 of our kids and by night 3 they were all sleep trained. They were happier too, it seemed like they were getting way more rest.

Yes my daughter is 3 and it’s all my fault since she’s been sick I let her sleep w me. Now I totally regret it. I’m having such a hard time putting her back in her crib. 😭

My daughter turned 5 mo today and has gotten into better habits the past few nights. We went through about 6 weeks of her refusing her crib or only sleeping 1.5-2 hours in there. She would only sleep on me or she would scream, and only upwards of 4 hours. It made my nights so difficult as I couldn't sleep deeply and would wake up if she shifted. The other night, she fell asleep on me and I left her on her blankie (she has great neck control and can easily flip to tummy, so I'm no longer worried about non-fluffy blankets) but put her in her crib. She rotated onto her side, pulled her blanket around her, and slept six hours straight. It's now been three nights of this and I'm soooo happy she's moving out of the regression.

My daughter of 4 mo old start a regressions a few nights ago and its so harddd for me! I would like to find some good methods for training any one can let me know any of those? Thanks!!

My baby is teething at 4 months old, and has been sleeping poorly for the last few weeks. My husband and I have been taking turns waking up to comfort him back to sleep, but we’re struggling

I’m going through 4month regression with little one, feels like we are back to being newborn. Last week she was sleeping through the night this week awake every hour 😬

Any tips for 19 month old regression? He’s fighting naps and bed time. Won’t take his bottle in his crib anymore like he used to. I do bring him in bed with me at night if he wakes up, but getting him to fall asleep is next to impossible! We’re going on week two! Help! :)

When can you start with sleep training? Since my boy was 2/3 weeks old weve managed to get him to know night and day, he’ll sleep at night 4 hours then wakes for his feed. But has started waking up at 5 and wont go down till 8-9 then its feed again then struggles to go down and stay asleep. Hel wake every half hour 🤷🏻‍♀️

Any suggestions for helping with a two year old sleep regression? He’s waking up 2 hours earlier than normal 😞

My son is 4.5 years and for the past 2 months he wakes up between 10 and midnight crying. Not sure if it’s a bad dream or he’s too hot etc. need help.

My little one turned 12 weeks old on Saturday and is now sleeping only 1-2 hours at night and only 30 minutes a day 😳🥱😭 Is 12 weeks to early for a sleep regression?

My daughter is 3 months old and for the past week or so, every time I lay her to bed she starts kicking like a madwoman. Even if I rock her to sleep she kind of twitches on me. It’s like she just figured out she can control her legs but now she can’t turn them off 😩 at this point my goal is to make sure she naps by any means necessary lol, or the nights are 10x harder. Help?!

Pretty sure we've just entered it. LO is 16 weeks old. Usually only naps for around 20-30 minutes at a time and night wakings have randomly started up again. What fresh hell is this?!

Hi, going through the 2 year sleep regression, into week 4-5 of it. Went to sleep by himself fine before, now refuses to nap in cot and likes a good old chat and for me to be in the room before he goes to sleep for bed. Anyone experienced this and come out of the other side? Last one lasted 8 weeks! Thank you

15 month sleep regression waking up 2.5 hours earlier than usual and napping so much less around 1 hour...!? Is this a thing 🥱😩x

We are going on week 7 of the 4 month sleep regression. Eats 1-3 times a night but wakes every hour and needs to be rocked back to sleep. We are 😴😴😴

My love is 8 months teething and in a sleep regression. He goes to bed for about 3 hours and then wakes up screaming around midnight and usually won't go back to sleep unless I bring him to our bed and then it can up to an hour before he calms down and falls asleep... its rough...

Yes mine is 22 months almost 23 months. Fights it to go to sleep, when he wakes up early morning to go back to sleep takes forever and forever to nap! Doesn’t want to use blankets

Yes my daughter is 20months and refuses to go to sleep at night and wakes up constantly through the night and then still wakes up early..she also doesn’t want to use any blankets

that’s too funny !! 🤣🤣 my 6 month old does the same thing!! And they can be so tired but as soon as u put them down, they wanna decide to fool around. Tossing and turning like crazy!!! Like omg!! And now mine has been doing better , but sometimes I can rock him and he’s knocked out and as soon as I put him down there he go tricking me into thinking he was asleep!! Like I try hard not to laugh bc u see him smiling there in the crib ! 😆 but sometimes it takes me few extra tries before I’m bout to throw in the towel and then he finally knocks out!! Let me tell u the patience that they test in us!!! Lmaooo
