Dogs and pregnancy

Idk what to think honestly. My dog has always been more attached to me. But as my pregnancy has progressed he keeps going to my husband more. Idk if he doesnt get it and maybe its unrelated or maybe he's mad at me for being pregnant? Since hes been the baby. 🤷‍♀️

My female dog was extremely protective of me when I was pregnant from the very beginning and actually days before I found out . Shes now very protective of my son . My male dogs got super attached to me which sucked because the lady would get upset when they got near me . Then after I moved out Of my in-laws we took the males since they were our dogs and the lady was my brother in laws . I kid you not the day before my water broke they would refuse to let me be alone , we actually had trouble putting them in their cages when it was time for bed. Now the one is always by my sons feet while the other kind of just watches him from afar but if my son cries they both immediately want to be at his side .

My dogs both became more affectionate with me, but became extremely disobedient at the same time.

Totally and cats. My uncles dog used to sit at my feet and just bark at me like he was trying to tell me something I didn't already know 🙉 and my mum's cat used to pad paw my belly 🐱🐾

My dogs never really acted different but my cats definitely. I have two that are usually not very cuddly and I would wake up to one of them sleeping next to me almost every morning. And this started before I even knew I was pregnant so I definitely found it odd.

I have 2 dogs both females .my dog has been with me when I was pregnant 4 time and nothing has changed with her. My husband dog on the other hand she been more loving these past few months I've been preggo. I said she knows something is different about me.

My dog knew i was pregnant. When i walked her she acted like she had to now protect me from the other dogs on the street. It was very funny because she's a Pomeranian.

My dog put his whole paw on my belly and he laid his head on my stomach which he never does so I'm guessing he can sense it

My dog had no idea I was pregnant. I think he is just starting to notoce our 3 month old. He is an overly energetic blue heeler/Australian shepherd mix. He has always had a problem with jumping and he continued jumping on me while I was pregnant. So some pets might notice, but not mine. My sisters dog was a very affectionate chihuahua when I was pregnant. He loved laying on my pregnant belly. So I guess he noticed.
