Etiquette for unborn baby funeral

Hello
My husbands cousin was pregnant and just lost the baby in her third trimester so they are having a memorial service this weekend. I was wondering if anyone had any knowledge of what I should bring, what is the etiquette or what would be a thoughtful gift?

Thanks in advance.

For my cousin, I bought them Home Chef meals for a month and came over and did her laundry

When my childhood neighbor lost her 3 month old baby, my sister and I sent her family a memorial tree to plant in honor of her son that passed.

I love the tree idea or if they had a name for the baby already a piece of jewelry with the name on it. My friend lost her baby girl 24 hours after birth and it’s really important for her to have supports that will talk about her little girl, ask questions and acknowledge her as a mom. I think we tend to think it’s better to not bring it up but that’s not what the mom or dad needs.

Aww I'm so sad for her! Honestly the best thing you can do is provide care. Household help, if she has other kids offer to babysit for a weekend, anything that will give her and her husband time to cope and grieve.

Thank you all so much i appreciate the help!

Both my sister in laws lost a infant my nephew was 10 weeks old and my niece was 12 weeks old ot was a horrible heartbreaking time for the whole family but especially the Mum let
Her know you are always a phone call away day or night 2pm or 2am go over and sit with here the loneliness is consuming when grieving we got 1 a tatto paid for so should could get a tribute piece for her baby boy and the other we got meals and a box with her baby’s info name date weight ect I’m so sorry for your families loss ❤️

When I lost my boy it meant a lot that people sent him flowers and was there for us, also some food as we didn’t feel like shopping or cooking x

I would echo what others have said and try to talk to them about the baby as time passes. Especially on what would have been the baby’s birthday (or due date etc) just telling your friend that you’re thinking about them will really help.

Period like cramps

Hi
I’m currently 33 weeks pregnant and I keep getting period like cramps I thought these were Brixton hicks but I’ve heard they only last 30 seconds ish as this can go on for a good time frame then go away and come back, they aren’t bad enough where I can’t do basic things they just feel like I’m about to get my period I’m jus wondering how normal this is? Baby is still very actively kicking xx

Day out after c section

Hey,
I had an emergency c section 1 week ago I obviously don't want a day out right now but I have things booked for the Easter holidays so in 2 weeks. I was just wondering if I will be overdoing it if I have a day out then or will I be ok? I would still take it as easy as I could. When did everyone feel good enough to go out?

C section or natural?

I am a control freak and thinking c section is the least stressful route for me and baby… less complications during labour etc. whilst acknowledging recovering can be hard.
If it could be guaranteed no tearing or complications then I would opt for natural and kind of want to experience the feeling.
Then again could plan and go either way 😂 arghh!
Anyone else in this predicament?

Midwife check

Can someone remind me when the midwife visits you at home? Is it the day after you’re discharged? And is that the same on the weekend or do they not visit then? Thanks!
