Postpartum

Everything is just hitting me hard ...
I still can’t believe I’m really a mom now it’s like it hasn’t really hit me yet, she’s about to be a month now and I just want to cry.
Man I’m really a mom
24 hours feeding, restless and sore
Regretting the sex I shouldn’t have had this week 🤦🏽‍♀️ I’m not sure what is wrong with me right now.... I’m so sad 😞

Hang in there mamma. Your body has taken a toll and it is absolutely Fine for you to feel the way you do. Dont push yourself too hard, don't be upsetwith yourself if you're not happy every minute you think you should. Everybody adjusts differently, and this is a Huge change on your life. Just take it one day at a time, you've got this.

It’s all going to be okay! You’re totally normal, we all feel an array of those things combined when having babies. Our bodies and minds and lives evolve and change and it’s impossible to expect that we glide into it all with ease and joy. Your hormones also contribute a lot, and you may be experiencing some post partum depression. Just vent when you need too, take care of your baby AND yourself, inform your doctor how you’re really feeling, speak with women in your life who you trust, and take it one day at a time. ❤️❤️

It definitely gets easier. 3 months mark was when baby started to show more personality. 5 months baby started to sleep through the night.

I know what you mean. For the first 3 weeks I kept waiting for his real mom to come in and take him. But we are their real mom. And they know you are their momma. She knows you love her. Take it one day at a time.

Do active babies in the womb become active newborns?

I had my 40 week ultrasound yesterday (on my due date) and the doctor mentioned how active my baby is. Curious as to your experiences regarding if your baby was active in the womb, are they likely to be active when they’re newborn? 😊

Small bumps

I have a really small bump, at 27 weeks pregnant. People keep commenting on the fact my bump is so small and its starting to worry & get me down. Has anyone here had a small bump with a baby that weighed measured average size? Its really worrying me! I have a 30 week scan and one at 37 weeks because im on a moderate pathway - had a gastric sleeve in 2023 so its to check she is growing but as the comments are coming im now panicking where I wasnt before 😫

Early Labour?

I’m 34 weeks today, since 3am I’ve been having irregular cramping which becomes quite intense and has caused me to vomit. I’ve also had diarrhoea. Could I be in early labour or could I just have a bad stomach? I feel generally well in myself

7 w post c-section running

When is it ok to start running again? Health visitor advised to wait longer before running but did anyone start at 7 weeks and how?
I know I won't be running marathons any time soon and probably have to start back at a couch to 5k but when?! I'm getting restless legs! Advice please

28wk5days growth scan📈

I’ve just been to my first growth scan as my bump was measuring small, for the lady to say that baby should be between 2pound 2ounces - 2pound 5ounces and my baby is measuring 2pound 15ounces which is above average, any one else has similar measurements?x
