How many baby outfits and muslins for hospital bag?

How many outfits are you planning on packing? I’ve got a newborn going home outfit and a slightly bigger size in case that is too small but don’t know how many others to take? Also how many muslins have you packed? I can’t decide!!

My baby was naked the whole time and in the hospitals swaddle blankets other then when I took pictures. My baby always had a hat and mittens on though.

I packed 2 newborn and 2 0-3 months outfits and one Muslins. My baby was naked most of the time since we did a lot of skin to skin and they suggested them be naked when breastfeeding

I packed 3 baby grows, 3 body suits, 1 hat and 1 muslin but ended up having an emergency c section and staying in hospital for 4 days so had to get my partner to bring more clothes. I'd say if you can fit a few more in your bag then do, just in case you need them!

There are some really good ‘hospital bag kit lists’ online.
I just followed one of those 👍

You literally don’t need as much as people say or think! I took two big bags and didn’t use most of it made life so much harder with extra baggage. I’d say take around 2 of everything. You’ll need more nappies & ready milk more than anything x

Period like cramps

Hi
I’m currently 33 weeks pregnant and I keep getting period like cramps I thought these were Brixton hicks but I’ve heard they only last 30 seconds ish as this can go on for a good time frame then go away and come back, they aren’t bad enough where I can’t do basic things they just feel like I’m about to get my period I’m jus wondering how normal this is? Baby is still very actively kicking xx

C section or natural?

I am a control freak and thinking c section is the least stressful route for me and baby… less complications during labour etc. whilst acknowledging recovering can be hard.
If it could be guaranteed no tearing or complications then I would opt for natural and kind of want to experience the feeling.
Then again could plan and go either way 😂 arghh!
Anyone else in this predicament?

Midwife check

Can someone remind me when the midwife visits you at home? Is it the day after you’re discharged? And is that the same on the weekend or do they not visit then? Thanks!

Owlet

Anyone else’s owlet pi##ing them off ?!?! It goes off 5/6 a night saying it can’t get a reading and needs a snug fit. My baby is 8 months old so moves a lot. It is driving me insane and I keep end up taking it off!!
