How often do you wash your hair? I wash mine about every 4/5 days and I get similar to this or more.
I’m not freaked out though, it’s completely normal 👍

I have always had to wash my hair every day because it’s thin it doesn’t look or feel clean if I leave it a day or two x

Yep, totally normal. Don't worry it will grow back.

Yeah it’s just all the hair you were suppose to lose if you weren’t pregnant then pp when all hormones level out those hairs start to drop out. I’m almost 5 months pp and have recently noticed less coming out

Have you been taking your natal vitamins ? I heard this is supposed to stop it

Oh yeah, 4 months postpartum was awful for me with hair loss too. I felt like I was so bald by the time it all came out

Awe yes, so scary seeing in the shower. Adding postpartum hair vitamins has been a game changer for me after this pregnancy. My first one I felt like the shedding went on for so long. I take a postpartum hair loss gummy from baby blues and think it works really well. Has all the vitamins for scalp and hair.
Good luck, a little shed is hormones but according to ob stress and lack of sleep can make it more severe and last longer.

I continued taking pre-natal vitamins, mostly only wash with conditioner, use a wide tooth comb after shower, and take biotin. I didn't loose any extra hair after giving birth.

Very normal! I was pulling out fist fulls of hair multiple times a day. I would brush it when it was dry and put it in a braid when I slept so it didn’t get knotted which made it a little easier to deal with

Completely normal unfortunately.

I had more coming out every and each wash. Also my hair was everywhere literally. All over in our bed, baby bed, floor , chair , clothes etc. I was disgusted with myself and very angry that how come I cannot control this. So my partner suggested to cut my hair .... went from very long to short. And I’m loving it and my hair stopped falling out... as well it started to grow back.
Think about to cut it a little bit back. Otherwise I feel the castor oil shampoo helped a
Lot too.

Going through this at the moment, not sure stress is helping it but definitely freaky to see 😔

I’m 2.5 years post and I still lose loads of hair 😢

Yep. For 18 months mine did that.

It looks normal, I mean I loose more hair in a regular shower haha 😆 my hairs pretty thick and curly though so it’s common, but ofcourse if it’s an increased amount from what you’re used to then do try and not shampoo your hair as much as this can cause hair to fall of your doing it daily x

Normal, 4-6 months pp seem to be the range for losing hair. Pregnancy hormones suppress the natural shedding process. Just your body making up for lost time. Don't worry, it will stop and start growing again.
I lost sooo much hair. I was unclogging drains and vacuums. My laundry always had tons of balled up hair in it. After every shower I had to empty my wet brush. It is was completely ridiculous.

Vitamins will help and hair oil

Mine’s started and I’m 4 1/2 months postpartum 🤦♀️ Really hope it doesn’t last long :(

Hun unfortunately is normal but definitely you should start looking into some natural hair growth products that happen to me I was literally bold I became more depressed then I started using these amazing vegan hair products I have so much hair growth and now with my second baby he is almost 3 month a literally 0 hair loss it also depends on your products they have a lot of chemicals and we get stressed of seen the hair falling out it falls out more. Dm I’ll definitely will share with you the products. 🤗

Hair loss is normal, but try this! It works and it’s natural https://organicolivia.com/product/mane-magic-double-size-4oz/

Mine is still like this...19 months later 😭😭😭

I am having the same issue.
I went to the doctor and 9s exams showed that I am anemic which contributes to hair loss

I lose a lot more than that in the shower but I have a ton of hair. if you get matted in the am you might benefit sleeping on a satin pillow case or bonnet!

100% normal and might happen up to a year or so later!! Our vitamins and all those hormones from baby are just getting back in normal order!
I am a recent Nursing Student Graduate! Let me know if you have any other questions or concerns!

I just started using a hair thickening system! It’s a shampoo, conditioner and serum spray! It’s helped make my hair feel so much fuller even with all my hair loss, it’s color proof biorepair 8!

I think it’s normal. Best to take a high quality multivitamin with iron plus other supplements like Omega 3s. Eat Whole Foods and plenty of protein. Bone broth is a plus. Rosemary oil and castor oil stimulate the hair follicles. You can google it. Try a rosemary shampoo or create your own scalp treatment. Scalp massage increases circulation. Do this in the shower and in the am or pm. Girl, vanity is my game. This is how you git those locks!

I had lots of hair loss PP. Now I have a lot of new growth, annoying short hairs everywhere.

This is nuts. I have alot too. It never stops

Yep I'm experiencing this too! I'm using niotin shampoo and conditioner to help

Mine is not matted but yes mine is doing this also 4 month PP!

Totally normal, dont forget to keep taking prenatals

Yep, same here. My hair dresser said folic acid to take for your hair xx

I’m experiencing the same! Same amount in the shower, plus when I brush my hair and what falls during the day! I’m taking pregnacare new mum for a month and haven’t seen any improvement 😫

Does any body have little strands down at the nape of their neck like enough to put into a bobby pin same with their fringe?
I’ve had them since maybe middle to end of my pregnancy and now 6 months still like this and the same with my fringe I also have what feels like a bruise on my scalp any recommendations for shampoos and conditioners to help with hair growth and the bruise like feeling on my scalp TIA

Mine is that same amount comes out every shower (every day) and I'm 12 weeks pp

The ginger or the banana hair care products from the body shop are amazing, I started using them when my hair started falling out and my hair is quite thick now.....If you're in the UK I can get you 25% off the products...... Hairburst new mum vitamins are also very good xx

The Hairburst new mum vitamins are fine when breastfeeding, I think the vitamins are buy 1 get 1 free in Holland and Barrett at the moment.
In regards to the Bodyshop stuff, I can get you 25% off the RRP price if you wanted some.xx

Girl. When mine started falling out like 10x bigger amounts at 4 months pp i started crying ..thinking the worst My husband Laughed at me. Because i was hysterical

Hiya everyone thanks so much for all the advice! Just wanted to let you know that I’ve been taking pregnacare hair and nail vitamins and using Nioxin system 2 shampoo and conditioner for a couple of weeks now definitely seeing the difference!
I’m going to try using body shop ginger oil and that’s meant to be soothing for the scalp! Hope this helps.
Glad to know I’m not the only balding lady 😂😭🙈

Wow I’ve never seen such hair loss! I haven’t experienced that myself

I lost a lot too once I hit about 3 months pp. You have to take into account the length of your hair as well. If its longer, itll look like twice as much. If your hair is short it won't look like nearly as much but will still be the same amount of strands of hair. I kept an eye on my part line. I def have tonsss of baby hairs now still growing but if your part looks okay, then stop worrying :)

Same! My baby is almost 5 month and the amount of hair around the house floor is crazy!

I’m 2.5 years pp with my second and it still looks like this 😅

Unfortunately, it’s totally normal!! 🥴🥴🥴

I know it's not going to work for everyone but my stylist recommend cutting my hair to a shorter length to take the weight off of my roots. Also maybe try a special shampoo/conditioner to repair the hair from root to tip.

I have more falling out. Feel like I'm gonna run out soon. The difference in my hair from pre baby and now 6 months pp makes me want to cry

My hair normally looks like this pre-pregnancy.... i fear for PP hair loss!! Thanks for putting here what you've been using lately to help repair. Do you still feel that it is helping?

I haven’t experienced that yet since I’m only 2 months PP. But I’ve been using Monat and it’s been magic on my hair. It’s actually felt thicker and healthier. It also helps with hair loss!

Oh my gosh I can relate! This is me every time I have a shower. I feel like every time I brush my hair I have to clean my hairbrush and I keep finding clumps of hair on my carpet! 😱

Same here my hair is all over the place my Gp recommended tons of vitamins 🙁
