I reorganized the living room and dinning room so I can fit my 1 years olds huge bounce house inside swing and another climbing tower 🤦🏻‍♀️. 1 month left I’m not ready for a newborn

Congratulations! I loved nesting! I started going into labor while cleaning my kitchen, two weeks before my due date- thought it was back pain from reorganizing and cleaning that week 🤦🏻‍♀️ Very noticeable contractions started less than two hours later, I was like noooo I still have things to put away 😂 my bag was packed though so I wasn’t too worried.

Two days before I gave birth I wallpapered the entire spare room, ladder and everything. I don’t know what I was thinking but I got it done in time so my mum could stay and help out with the baby.

My boyfriend and I have moved into our new apartment yesterday, just in time for baby’s arrival in a couple weeks. And I already have the house all set up today 😂🤦🏻‍♀️ next is baby’s room !

Lol that's cute and good timing cause my due date was today I'm still not having contractions, I've been working delivering for instacart, washed,folded organized the babies clothes put her crib together, still cooking and cleaning hoping it will get the baby more ready to come out and nothing lol

-organized all the babys clothes from NB-6mo
-got pacifiers on binki buddies
-sorted bottles
-stacked all the wipes neatly in the "baby corner"

I feel you. Ive repainted half the house, redecorated, organised every cupboard and space and now onto meal prepping. Still dont feel prepared tho!

You all are impressive. I’m moving in less than a month (to who knows where yet) and I haven’t even started packing. Did get some boxes though that are still sitting in the plastic wrap lol.

I didn’t actually know I was nesting , until I gave birth and my mom pointed it out. My nesting consisted of me making a months worth of food . And I just thought I was hungry ahaha 😂 pregnancy life

I don’t think I nested my mom and aunt clean my house. But most of the last two months of my pregnancy I was on bed rest at my parents house

For me I organized my babies room about ten times before he was born. I also did the dishes and everything around the house. I was exhausted 😩

Today I rearranged all the kitchen cupboards to move Tupperware into a drawer and wiped down and scrubbed all the cupboard doors. The day before I went through the fridge and freezer. What is happening to me ?!?

I had a baby room all set up at the town house we were renting even though we were looking for a house to buy, bought a house at 7 months pregnant , and got to do it all over again!! Lol

You rearrange the room 5 times just to make more space. We live with my in laws in the process of buying a house so we share a room with our son

I could have wrote this post myself! 😂 literally any day my toddler is in Nursery I'm going crazy on organising cupboards and clearing things out...only time I get to myself but so satisfying when you see the end result!

I didn't know this was a thing until I came home with the baby. I would not- could not- stop cleaning up whatever was around in our very crowded studio. I found new things to clean that i had never before dreamt of cleaning in my life. I guess if didn't affect me as much pre-delivery cuz I was working full time until I delivered. Once I realized this was nesting, I compelled myself to resist the urge and get some sleep.

I cleaned and organized the pantry and now I'm onto the fridge. I am due in just 7 weeks with baby number 2. I just got done organizing her room and got everything ready.
