I had a smear done recently and the nurse said that my cervix is positioned to the right. I asked at the time if this was something to worry about but she (albeit unconvincingly 😰) said no.
Does anyone have a similar cervix and has it affected ability to conceive? My husband and I have been trying now for a year but I’ve had bloods done which all came back normal but I’ve just got a niggling feeling that something isn’t right.

This is exactly me! Mine said the same thing as well. She said mine was high and positioned to one side but that wouldn’t impact anything. Bloodwork and sonogram came back normal.
Hopeful for you!

My uterus is tilted backwards more than normal and we ended up having to do iui and currently pregnant

I was told mine was tilted back and that it would be harder to get pregnant with usual positions but to use a triangle pillow to elevate your hips or from behind would also be better as they haven't got to swim as far!! Sorry if tmi!

My cervix was positioned to the left and she just moved it back into place or so she told me. I stupidly didn’t think to ask if this would cause me any issues in conceiving. Thanks for raising it and I’ll certainly ask and see what answer I get.

Thanks for all your advice, glad to see that I’m not being crazy! I mean she did say it wasn’t an issue but she didn’t sound like she meant it. I’m not sure if I’m just reading too much into it though, everything just feels so stressful 😰

I got my smear in February and found out my cervix is retroverted meaning it tips backwards my nurse said it wouldn't affect conception !!Also it finally explains why I sometimes find sex painful and seemingly if u get lower back pain during ovulation ( like I do)this is a reason why ,as it tilting backwards ...I did some research 😅
