This is my first pregnancy and I’ve never been around anyone that has been pregnant or even had babies before so it makes me scared because I don’t know what to expect.

That you might be perceiving things way differently due to the hormones. Strong emotional reactions or thoughts/sadness just try and breathe through them and give it time. Reflect on them, the feeling is real but the reason for feeling them might not be. Also take your vitamins. They are for you, as your body just gives everything to baby regardless. So you need to keep yourself healthy by keeping your reserves up!

How fast and hard hormones/mood swings hit, food aversions and pregnancy insomnia in the last trimester 😬 ohh... and heartburn!

Don’t prewash and prepare all of the baby clothes before hand. Half of the clothes you have, the baby will probably not get to wear, then you can’t exchange or return them. Also, don’t buy a ton of baby clothes because so many people will gift them to you.
I registered for so many items that I did not need or use.
Enjoy your pregnancy. Take those 9 months and concentrate on you and baby. Take lots of pictures of the journey and get lots of rest because you’ll need to bottle some up for later! :)
Congrats Mama!!

Not everyone poops while giving birth! My 2 friends both did, and got me terrified that it would happen. I am having my 4th soon, and it's never happened to me, not even close!

I wish I would have been told how important kegels are during pregnancy and especially after. Do exercises to strengthen your pelvic floor!

I wish I worried less and enjoyed it more taking it day by day

I wish I would have let people take more pictures of me

That lying down during labor slows down the progress. That Birthing on hands and knees make it better for baby than lying down That I could even have a vaginal birth after a c-section, that eating during labor is absolutely fine...that I DO NOT have to get induced if I don’t want to...gosh soo many things I have truly been misinformed purposely by these doctors and I finally get to stand in my power and make the necessary decisions for my baby because I’m waaaayyy more knowledgeable than I was my first pregnancy

I wish I had asked more questions when I was pregnant with my first. I didn't want to bother doctors and I didn't talk to mine really until the very end when I begged to be induced because I was in so much pain I couldn't walk anymore. Also when you go to the hospital to have the baby, bring chapstick lol my lips felt like they were going to fall off and I didn't expect that to be a problem to worry about

I wish I knew that epidurals can f up your back! I’d have never gotten one! 9 years later and my back is awful xx
