Group B Strep positive labor and baby

Hi,
First time mom to be here, currently around 37 weeks.
Can anyone please share their experience of labor and how was the baby health in the first weeks, months when tested positive for GBS and receiving antibiotics during labor?
I was blessed to not have any serious complications during whole pregnancy and was really looking forward to unmedicated easy-ish birth hopefully and healthy baby but now is concerned about me being able to stay mobile during labor and having side effects for antibiotics, and for baby to have microbiome negative affects due to antibiotics taken..
Any insights or experience would be helpful.

I was treated for group b strep. Stayed plenty mobile, no side effects. The way to have a healthy baby is to take the medicine. Most hospitals require you have an IV in during labor in case an emergency happens, you probably won't even notice the medicine during contractions honestly, I barely noticed anything.

I was GBS positive and had a very quick labor - I was only able to get 1 hour of antibiotics in rather than the recommended 4 hours. It was unmedicated labor. A little annoying being hooked up to the iv but the nurses and my husband helped me get in whatever positions I wanted. They kept us 42 hours in the hospital to monitor baby. The prolonged hosing stay was the hardest part… if you get the 4hours of antibiotics before your water breaks they won’t make you stay from my understanding.

As far as microbiome my pediatrician recommended probiotics and I also was taking probiotics before giving birth and currently taking them. I feel great.

Baby is healthy and happy just a little over a week old now.

I was GBS+ in 2 of my pregnancies which is why I requested to be induced as my previous labours have been really quick (4 hours after waters) I was allowed to be up and about as much as I wanted but did have IV antibiotics during labour, it can’t be passed to baby until waters have broken, I wasn’t GBS+ with my 5th but had precautionary antibiotics anyways at my own request but that labour was totally different to my others, 9 hours and hormone drip.

All my babies are absolutely fine they’re 11-9-5w2d, I did have to stay in for 24 hours tho so they could do obs on them x

It didn’t seem like a big deal tbh. They treated me with antibiotics as soon as I got situated at the hospital and that’s the last it was ever really even mentioned. It didn’t seem to have any effect on my child, to my knowledge anyway.

Reduced movements

Baby hadn’t moved for about 2 hours (that I can be sure of) but has now got hiccups and moving slightly again. Should I still go to triage or is that enough for things to be ok?

Growth scan

Just had a growth scan 35 + 2 and they said baby is weighing 3.5lbs, I had a growth scan at 28 weeks and he was 3lbs then. I’m back for a scan in 2 weeks but they said if he drops again they will look to induce me at 37-38 weeks now I’m scared!

Is anyone super sweaty down there?

I am around 21 weeks now, doing shopping today and was genuinely panicking my waters had leaked. Rang the local antenatal assessment and was suggested to change, pad up and monitor for an hour and go in to be checked if necessary. Been monitoring with toilet paper wads (as I didn't have maternity pads this early on!) and regular checking and luckily I think everything is okay... But seriously, was it just sweat??! Has anyone else experienced this?
