Having sex after having a c-section

Please please don’t. Please wait until your 6 week check for yourself! I had a c section in September and I think I had sex about 3/4 weeks after even though I felt absolutely fine about 3 days after the operation but slowly my scar got really painful and eventually started splitting open about 8/9 weeks post baby. So honestly even though you might feel fine there is soooo much healing that still needs to be done. I know this is my personal circumstances but it was honestly more painful that that first day after the c section when it started to come apart and I would hate for anyone to go through that

I think you know your own body well enough! The actual sex bit will be fine (if the bleeding doesn’t bother you) just make sure you’re very very gentle. You wouldn’t get up off the sofa too quickly so don’t be jumping up and down 😂😂😂 just see how you go but remember the scar can re open so no stretching etc just keep it as vanilla as you can!!!

Dont do this, your uterus needs atleast a month to heal or you can get an infection or wound yourself inside. I waited 5 weeks after my c section and it didnt hurt at all, as i was fully healed by then xxx

I had 2 c-sections and the hormone surge after baby does bring your sex drive back with a vengeance, so I totally understand where you are coming from!!
However definitely wait till after your 6 week check because as Jessica said there is so much healing going on and all the jiggling can cause damage and can be painful!! Obviously you can still give each other some attention, just sick to hands only stuff!! 😉

After c section had sex after 7-8 days everything was absolutely fine , ( my mid wife also told me it’s okay ) just tell him to be gentle x

I had my baby 5 weeks ago and had sex 2 weeks ago. We were very gentle. Felt okay afterwards. However last week my stomach started to feel very tender just above the scar. Not sure if that had anything to do with it.
I was the same as you though I didn’t have a sex drive at all when pregnant 🤰.
