What’s a quick way to get my almost two year old to goto the potty?

We’ve “soft launched” it to madam over the last 2 weeks and she’s doing exceptionally well. We’re planning to do it properly this weekend and with no nappies so hoping for the best!

I usually file my baby's nails but thought I'd try the clippers and accidently cut his skin on his thumb 😭 it did bleed quite alot but seems to be ok, I can't put a plaster on as he keeps putting his fingers in his mouth. Is it likely to get infected from his saliva? Feel like a terrible mum haha
