Im rocking him (17 months) for about 15 mins after his milk and then he goes down. When should that stop? Curious to know what other moms are doing.

I was holding out hope for a love to dream swaddle up...I've been holding baby for a month to sleep. Of course I still need to settle him to sleep. He lasted 20 seconds in the cot now, when he seemed asleep in my arms. Help - how to settle and how to put him down? I'm tired.

Why is it okay for adults to sleep together and have companionship at night but we expect babies to sleep alone in a bassinet or crib. Why is it okay for even some animals to sleep near each other too. Are we denying a basic human response because it’s what society expects or tells us.

My 17 month old has 1 nap a day but naps late like 2.30-3pm and this can be 2 hours or less.
