Pregnancy and early motherhood are some of the most transformative and demanding times in a woman’s life.

As your body works overtime to support a growing baby and recover postpartum, it’s no wonder so many women find themselves feeling drained.

One often-overlooked reason? Low iron levels.

Iron plays a crucial role in helping your body produce red blood cells, which carry oxygen to your organs and tissues.

It’s also key in supporting energy levels and reducing feelings of tiredness and fatigue.[1]

That’s why getting enough iron, especially during and after pregnancy, is so important.

Why Iron Needs Increase During Pregnancy

Your body needs more iron than usual during pregnancy to support both your own blood volume and your baby’s developing system.

It’s estimated that around one in four pregnant women in the UK have low iron levels, which can lead to symptoms like:

  • Fatigue
  • Dizziness
  • Weakness
  • Brain fog

After birth, your iron stores may remain low, especially if you lost blood during delivery, so continuing to top up your iron during the postpartum period can help you feel more like yourself again.

Struggling With Traditional Iron Supplements? You’re Not Alone

While many women are prescribed iron during pregnancy, traditional tablets can sometimes be hard on the stomach, causing nausea, constipation, or other unwanted side effects.

For some, these effects are enough to make supplementation a chore—or even something they avoid.

That’s where Spatone Apple + Vitamin C comes in.

Gentle, Effective Iron Straight from the Source

Spatone is a naturally sourced, iron-rich water collected from the Trefriw Wells Spa in the Welsh National Park of Snowdonia.

Every sachet provides iron in a form that’s:

  • Easy to absorb
  • Gentle on the stomach
  • Convenient and easy to take

And thanks to added vitamin C, your body is able to absorb the iron even more effectively.

Many women find that supporting their iron intake with a gentle supplement like Spatone helps reduce fatigue and supports energy throughout the day.[1]

If you’re menstruating, pregnant, or postpartum[2] and struggling with low energy, Spatone can be a simple, effective way to help restore your balance and keep going.

Finding out gender

Has anyone found out the gender at a private scan at 14 weeks? And has this been accurate?

I found out at 17 with my first but I know a scan place that offers from 14/15 weeks and I’m impatient 😂🥲

Anyone been induced before? Was it more painful? Better than thought? Worse than thought? Worth it? Thoughts?

Induction or c section?

As a last resort, would you rather be induced or have a planned c section?

Really not liking the thought of being induced from people’s experiences I’ve read!
