Bottle/feeding Aversions

Hello! My baby is 3 months old and breastfed. We’ve been trying to get her to take a bottle for a month now with no progress. I have one more month until I go back to work… the process has felt exhausting, disheartening, and anxiety producing. It’s hard not to feel like a failure each time and then keep trying every day. I’m writing here to see if anyone has a success story they could share to give me hope and inspiration to keep going. Or any tips?? Will take any advice. We’ve been following all of the guidelines from the lactation consultant and trying many different bottles. Thank you ❤️

Hi my child has a bottle aversion I’m following the rowenna bennet book on day 2 and I’m struggling so much is their anyone that has come through on the other side that can support me

My 8 week preciously drinking 5oz every 3 hours, in the last few days he's barely drinking 2oz. He seems to take the bottle at first but then pushes it away about 1-2 oz and there is no way of getting that bottle back in once he's done that. I don't want to force him but worried he's not getting enough, I've tried different teats, different temperatures, positions etc nothing makes a difference

Hi everyone My girl is over 6 months now and for the last month or so she has been going through a bottle aversion. I have been feeding her constantly while she is asleep or drowsy to keep the weight and hydration. But I really can’t be doing this anymore, and want to fix the aversion. Rowena Bennet? I’ve done some research but I don’t have time to read the book as I have twins!! Can anyone who used the rowena bennet method break it down for me please? And did it work for you? How long did it last? I’ve started today, going on holiday on Friday so I really hope it resolves in some way. Thanks

I am so lost.

14 week old, tongue tie, oral thrush resolved at 5 weeks. He still will not take more than 2-3oz again. We had got up to 3-4 but feeds could take almost an hour.

Last two days following immunisations I am lucky to get 2-3oz every 4 hours 🤦🏻‍♀️. We have dropped a centile and now being monitored again.

I do not know what else to do, I’ve tried different bottles, teats, positions. If he doesn’t want it, he is not drinking it. Dream feeds don’t work either and I don’t want to make the situation worse by forcing anything on him. I am at the end of my tether and feel like an awful mum!

He’s happy and content most the time but yesterday in 24 hours he had 500ml 😭

What else can I do?
