Gallbladder issues support group

I was warned pregnancy would trigger m gallstone attacks due to the increase in oestrogen. I was fortunate and had one very, VERY small attack the entire 9 months despite eating what I wanted when I wanted.

I’ve been EBF for 9 weeks now and my gallstone attacks appear to be back. Has anyone found breast feeding a trigger?

Wouldn’t mind, but the icecream wasn’t even worth it.

I was wondering if anyone here has had their gallbladder removed and also has IBD? I’ve been having painful gallstone attacks but also have ulcerative colitis and Iv read that removing the gallbladder can cause digestive issues so a little apprehensive to get it removed so was wondering if anyone here has or is in a similar situation?🥲

Does anyone have any positive stories about gallbladder removal? I feel like I’ve only been hearing negative stories :(

When I first heard it’s an easy fix to the attacks I felt relieved but when I saw experiences online it made me feel anxious

How soon after surgery was you able to carry your baby up/down stairs, lean over cots/bath, co sleep ect?

For reference my baby is 5 months and weighs 11lb 8oz will I be able to cope straight away or should I move to parents?/how long for. Have my partner at night but he isn't comfortable being the one co sleeping and he leaves for work between 4.30/5.30am and sometimes doesn't get home till gone 6pm

Any advice on baby carrying, naps, breastfeeding and cosleeping post up?

I’m due to have my gallbladder removed in a few weeks and planning support to care for my baby.

I have a 6 month old who is exclusively breastfeeding and co sleeping, often with carrier naps and the odd buggy nap.

I need to know when I’ll be able to hold him and how much support lll need through the day and night. Bonus I also have a 4 yo!
