Guys, I need more information. Can anyone point me in the right direction for advice?
My consultant is insistent that we absolutely cannot go overdue with an ICSI baby because there's a "high risk" of placenta failure past 40 weeks. Apparently not so much with straightforward IVF babies but ICSI in particular.
Does anyone know anything about this? I'm trying for a VBAC this time after a really traumatic labour and emergency c section with my first and am hoping to go into spontaneous labour before 40 weeks but as we all know, babies have their own ideas! And my consultant wants to book a c section the day before my due date, which I would prefer over an induction but wondering is it safe to leave it a few more weeks or not?
