Pumping

MOTN pump

Hi everyone I need some help. I would love to drop my 4am pumping session I will be 19 weeks pp on Friday ( I strictly pump 12am, 4am, 8am, 12pm, 4pm, 8pm). Should I slowly stretch out my 4am pumping session till 6-7 and pump longer then for a few days then if I drop more than 5 ounces or so add another day pump? I currently get 54-55 ounces a day and 8-10 ounces each pumping session mainly 9 ounces though. Picture for attention ☺️ (freezer stash trying to get my baby to try it as I’m pretty sure I have high lipase, before I tried to get her to try it awhile back and she was fine with it. But now she doesn’t like it but will drink it which if she doesn’t like it I don’t wanna make her)

Soo, I never intended to exclusively pump, I wanted to breastfeed and with factors beyond my control that’s not worked out. I’m currently combi feeding with formula but really want to get to the point where it’s just breastmilk my little one is on.

At the mo, I’m pumping with the medela swing and getting between 35-60ml per pump (double). Baby is taking bottles of 80-90 mls at the minute and I reckon that will go up over the next month or so.

I guess my questions are - what’s the best way for me to get to the point of EP, at this point in (baby is 3 weeks 3 days) is what I’m pumping decent enough or do I need to do other things to increase supply?

Any help/advice/reassurance much appreciated x

Breastfeeding

D-MER

Does anyone suffer from D-MER (dysphoric milk ejection reflex) and feel sick when breastfeeding or pumping? If so does anyone have any tips or advice to help? Sometimes I can’t do anything except sit there and feel sorry for myself

Breast milk feeding volume

Hi ladies, just wondering how many ml or oz of expressed breast milk your little one is having in 24hrs? My 15 week old is having on average 1litre and wondering if I’m over feeding her. She always drinks whatever’s in the bottle and sometimes fusses when a 6oz bottle is finished

Help! Advice from the pros please!

Good morning you lovely lot, I have questions! I am 31 weeks pregnant with baby number 3, both my other cherubs were formula fed and I’m planning on exclusively pumping to feed this little fidget, I have clawed through a lot of internet searches but every where has different answers, when do I pump.. from birth I mean.. straight away when she’s out? And when do I pump for her feeds.. when it’s due? Half hour before? Or half hour before at first till I get a little supply then pump while she’s having a bottle? Just looking for what is not just best but easier to manage, I have wearable pumps to do the job rather than ones that I’m attached to the plug socket lol and help/advice is appreciated

Thankyou
