Catholic mamas, I would love some ideas! 🤍

Our parish has a cry room, which I am so thankful for, but right now it only has a few fold-out chairs. I would love to help make it feel a little more inviting and comfortable for moms and their crying or wiggly littles! 🥰

What does your parish cry room have in it? Do they have comfortable seating, quiet toys, books, a changing table, or anything else that makes it more welcoming?

If you could design the perfect cry room, what is something you would want it to have? I would love to gather some ideas and hopefully make ours a cozy and helpful space for families! 🤍✝️

For those women who veil - why do you veil? What are your reasons? My husband and I are very traditional and we attend the Latin Mass pretty much every weekend unless it isn’t offered for some reason. Veiling is not required, but it is highly encouraged and basically every woman veils and I feel like this is the one thing I’ve had the hardest time with. I didn’t grow up veiling at ALL. Literally didn’t even see it until I went to college. I have asked so many priests and tried reading books/scripture and listening to podcasts about it, and I feel like they always have the same reasonings, but none of those ever resonate with me. I DO veil, but I don’t feel like I have a strong reason - more to fit in and I pray that as I wear the veil, God would help me work through my hesitations towards it. I don’t hate veiling, but I don’t have a strong conviction for it if that makes sense. Would love to hear from other traditional ladies who do have strong convictions and what those reasons are! 💕

I’m having a marital crisis my husband has committed adultery (not physically). Had had apologized countless times and had promised to not do it again. But I am having a problem getting passed it I believe we need help and he has agreed to counseling. Was it worth it to go? I’m willing to try but I’m very discouraged and untrusting at the moment so it’s hard to imagine this getting better. I know he’s only human but I’m so disappointed. Divorce is still a last resort for us because we love each other and have children and respect the sacrament of marriage.
