Nap advice

Hey mums, I need some advice. My 20 month old refuses to nap in the afternoon. He’s been doing this since he was about 18 months. We co sleep, so it’s difficult i have to lie next to him and make sure we’re home, because he won’t nap in the pram, so it can feel quite isolating.

Because we co sleep, he naps in my bed, but he can get off it. If he doesn’t fall asleep, he ends up running around upstairs and pulling at things, which makes it even harder.

Today he woke up at 8:30am, so I wouldn’t usually try him for a nap until around 1:30–2pm, but then I worry he wouldn’t go to sleep at his normal bedtime. I bath him at 7–7:30pm and he’s asleep by 8pm, but he still wakes multiple times in the night for milk as well.

Do I just keep him awake and do bedtime earlier? I’m not sure what to do. I’m feeling really stressed with it.

Any advice?

I’ve very recently just found out I’m pregnant with baby number 3, I had my second November just gone. Apparently this pregnancy is high risk. I went to the pharmacy to get don’t vitamins and got these.(picture below) The woman behind the counter said I can’t take them if I’m breast feeding. My daughter is fed breast and bottle. I’ve reached out to my health visitor and asked for her advice because the pharmacist doesn’t know about my pregnancy and how long ago I had my last. I checked online to see if it said I couldn’t and it said it’s safe to breastfeed?

My boobs are in agony because I haven’t fed this morning or yesterday. Has anyone taken these and still breastfed? I’m not sure if it’s safe to do so and I don’t think how close together my pregnancies are have anything to do with the reason why I can’t bf and take these tablets. Can anyone help?

Cheap Car Seat

Hi all,

I need a cheap car seat for my mums car just for when she looks after my daughter incase she needs to pop out.

I ain’t particularly concerned over safety because it’s literally for emergencies only, as she plans everything around childcare - but I need something just incase she needs to go out.

Ideally looking for something under £80 - my daughters nearly 2 x

Early pregnancy symptoms

Pelvic girdle pain and birth

I have been experiencing awful pain. More so recently. I'm now using crutches to get around but it's more painful at night and when I lay down or sit down. I'm worried about birthing. I've got other issues and baby boy is estimating 8pounds at 36 weeks. I've been booked in for an induction 9 days prior to my due date. Surely he's going to be even bigger and I just don't feel like I've had any birth discussions in detail really. Ive only seen midwife twice and each time I've seen a consultant it's someone different. Has anyone else experienced awful pelvic pain and birthed a big baby?
