Pelvic Prolapse Support Group

Just found out I have a prolapse and it’s bad. Getting nervous because I haven’t seen one post about surgery. Has anyone gotten surgery?

I am 19m pp, forceps delivery/episiotomy etc. Pelvic floor is slowly getting a bit stronger and any symptoms I had post birth cleared up. However the last couple of times I've had sex with my partner there has been pain when in deeper positions, this is new pain and has also caused bleeding. The only change is that I have lost a significant amount of weight recently. I've no idea if that has allowed a deeper penetration but I don't think it has.

I've got my smear in a few weeks but just wanted to see if anyone else has had these symptoms...I'm sure they have.

Can your cervix drop after vaginal delivery? Would I have noticed this before with other symptoms?

Any advice or similar experiences appreciated x

Been diagnosed with a stage 2 rectocele , feeling pretty devastated and in a lot of discomfort. Advised to do pelvic physio - pls tell me does it get better? Need hope 😭

i’m pregnant and have a prolapse i’ve been told it’s only mild and normal i’m ok it’s a little uncomfortable but recently after sex im in a crazy amount of pain from the pressure i’m feeling down below its to the point i can’t walk for a few hours after i’ve mentioned it to my doctor but she was no help any advice ?

Has anymore been diagnosed with POP and had anothet sucsessful pregnancy and birth? Ive been diagnosed with stage 2 and I want more children but worried about the risks. Ive read online it can cause miscarriage, still birth and can make the prolapse worse.
