I was 1cm dilated last week at the doctor. Is it going to hurt anything to have my husband check me at home to see if he can tell if I’m dilating at all?

You want to limit the number of checks as much as possible. The more checks you do, the more likely you are to introduce infection

I wouldn’t recommend. Agree with . Dilation is not an indicator of how near or far labor is. You can be 1cm and progress very quickly or you can be stuck at 3cm for weeks!
You body knows what it’s doing, & baby will come when he/she is ready:)
