I keep getting yeast infections after having sex with my husband. I never had yeast infections with any other guy before. At first I thought it was me, then my sister told me she got yeast infections only with her ex and she believed it was something he ate that caused her PH balance to be off. I thought it was not washing hands, but even if we have sex after we shower, i still catch it. I’ve been to the OBGYN so many times and i’m embarrassed. I feel like i take monistat monthly. I don’t know how to bring it up to my husband. Has this happened to anyone? does anyone take any yeast guard or probiotics and it works?

Learn more about our guidelines.Tell him he’s fucking up your ph balance. Look into dietary restrictions to help level out semen acidity. And feed him all that good stuff! Lol
Men can be carriers, he may need to take treatment to stop it from passing onto you
he def needs to get checked by a doctor and tell them what's happening. also, but boric acids tablets from target they're made specifically for this reason and i heard it takes it away completely. they're near the beaty section i believe

I was going to point this out too! Men can have yeast infections and so he needs to get checked. But also if he isn't cleaning properly it will mess up your PH as well
Definitely have him get checked out, boric acid suppositories after sex and femdophilus probiotics. I had the same thing with an ex.
I agree he needs to treat his too while you’re getting yours treated. While pregnant I kept having symptoms and started probiotics and they helped. I ran out but just started again! Now I want just for stomach issues but I really recommend for yeast infection! Good luck.
Alot of ppl are carriers. Thrush is not a dirty infection its Just a pH fluctuation. See a GP, some ppl have chronic Thrush, like myself, u can be prescribed a monthly tablet called fluconazole
Are you currently pregnant. In both my pregnancies I got different things...First I had a fungal infections on my arms....second I got a yeast infection below my breasts. Couldn't shift either while I was pregnant. Cleared up once I'd had the baby. You're immune system is off in pregnancy which makes you susceptible to this more.
Do you go to the bathroom right afterwards? Also take a shower shortly wards and see if that helps.
Do try feminine probiotics, I think they help.
I used to get them monthly as well . Especially after sex or my period and I thought I was getting it from him ( he’s a super health freak so idk ) but once I got back on birth control it stopped ! I’ve never been more relieved
