Bolts of pain in Cervix area

Hi ladies 👋

Sorry of this has already been asked! Has anyone else experienced shooting pains in their cervix at 32 weeks? I mainly get it when walking/ standing up snd it only lasts a second or two, but it's becoming more frequent now 😬

Dr google says it could be baby getting into position and more cervix dilating, but surely it's too soon for that?

Any help would be appreciated! Thanks 😁

Not a Dr but I think it’s a totally normal sign that the baby is head down!? I’ve had it a few times already at 30 weeks

Getting this very regularly at 31 weeks. Has become more frequent over the past 3 weeks or so x

Just saw this post come up in my feed, I had my baby at end of December and got these pains (up my bum too) during 3rd trimester & all was fine xx

Not sure its the same thing but baby is definitely sometimes kicking me in the cervix, sooo uncomfortable!

It's crazy to think they are that low down already 😱

I was listening to a pregnancy podcast the other day and they called it ‘fanny daggers’ which is exactly how I would describe it 🤣 they said it’s common at this stage with all going on, so that reassured me!!

It’s called lightening crotch. I have it, baby is breech though so it’s a bit of a misconception that it means they are head down. Not the most fun 😂 but no major drama

Same - 32 weeks on Sunday and starting to get lightening Crotch ! Baby is fully head down so I think it’s common . Also since she turned head down I have been getting more Braxton hicks / period type pains xx

Finding out gender

Has anyone found out the gender at a private scan at 14 weeks? And has this been accurate?

I found out at 17 with my first but I know a scan place that offers from 14/15 weeks and I’m impatient 😂🥲

Induction?

Anyone been induced before? Was it more painful? Better than thought? Worse than thought? Worth it? Thoughts?

Baby names

My daughter‘s name is valentýna and I’m struggling to find other nice girl and boy names beginning with V I’ve got a few and I’ve got loads that aren’t beginning with V, but I feel like I wanna go for all vs and I also love girl and boys names that match so because my daughter’s name is valentýna I would love to call my son Valentino my husband does not agree 😃

Induction or c section?

As a last resort, would you rather be induced or have a planned c section?

Really not liking the thought of being induced from people’s experiences I’ve read!
